I'm writing this because I wanted to share my buying experience. A member (Keith58) shared a MSRP lead on the forum and I jumped on it. I called Morries Minnetonka Ford in Minnetonka Minnesota and talked to Nate McKinney. I put a deposit down on Saturday 6/18.
I shared with Nate some of the issues that we talk about on hear such as scraped up belly pans and improperly installed splitters and he got together with the Service Manager, PDI Manager and various technicians and new car prep techs and had multiple meetings on preparing the car for me to take delivery of it. The car, H0112, was already on the rail car headed to the dealer and arrived on 6/23. The PDI dept immediately ck'ed and notice the bellow pan was damaged and ordered a new one and installed it in 3 days. I sent Nate the Ford video on splitter installation and the service manager and techs watched it. Even the service manager installed a few screws and over saw the installation. He said he guaranteed the splitter was perfect according to the video. Nate knew I was driving this car from MN to GA and it had to be perfect. When it came to sitting down with the finance guy, Griffin Jones, went out of his way to get me the best ARP rate and had the paper work ready for me. It was literally sign and drive. Even the Sales Manager, Glen Suanders, came and met me and I shared our Shelby forum and community with him. He was genuinely interested knowing that I came from GA to buy a car and that Keith58 was from GA also. I've never had a better experience. I think they only get 3 to 5 Shelbys a year but they sell them all before they even get them. They are getting an R but they are asking $20K ADM but hey they at least sell their non R's for MSRP. I tried to upload some pics but file fails every time.

Belongs in the ADM thread, we don't need to start another ADM complaint thread

He is posting a positive buying experience regarding a NON ADM purchase he made. No complaint about ADM in his post and referral to people looking to buy there.

There are dealers out there still willing to sell at or below MSRP. I bought my first one $100 below MSRP. I'm lucky enough to have done this in my home town!

Congrats VoodooShelby!

Wow, MSRP and great service! You lucky dog you.

To get pictures to upload you will often need to edit the cellphone pic by cropping some of the image. I believe this compresses the file size.

Atlanta area and drove 90 miles outside to get a MSRP deal. Great experience and gave them a 100% review. There are a good number of family owned dealers with honest management and honest salespeople. When you find one its truly a good feeling.
