The power is very linear which is different coming from big turbos where there is a lot of lag. I'm really impressed with how driveable it is. I don't think daily drivers would have any issues at all.

I haven't been able to drive with any of my GT friends yet on open road, just through traffic this past weekend. I really want to upgrade the clutch/flywheel and driveshaft so I can really get on it from a dig and see how it goes.

I figure I can make it last if I don't get on it too hard, man, it's tough though. I just have this feeling the first time I really launch it from a dig I'm gonna hear a really bad sound.

That's awesome though hope you get those parts installed soon. I'm patiently waiting for mine to ship out.

You're concerned more about the driveshaft then the halfshafts? Or did you mean the halfshafts? The driveshaft is the same as the GT. I plan on doing halfshafts and possibly clutch/flywheel at the same time as the supercharger.

I think half shafts and driveshaft are fine...especially if AT. If your gunna run slicks then maybe upgrade. Flywheel and clutch really isnt a option....unless you want your car to break and leave you stranded. I broke my flywheel with a couple bolt ons and a tune..

The advice I got from ProCharger and Tom at SuperSix was to upgrade the driveshaft before the Clutch/Flywheel. I know that hasn't been our experience here on the forums so I've just decided I want to upgrade both at the same time. I have to drop the driveshaft to replace the clutch/flywheel anyway. I will probably go with the aluminum one from SuperSix for cost reasons. I'd like that carbon fiber though.

IMO the driveshaft was such a big problem in the previous generation that Procharger is being overly cautious on this generation. Procharger had a 5th gen V6 driveshaft let go on their dyno which I'm sure left a lasting impression.

Oh yeah that would explain a lot. Just to be clear ProCharger didn't recommend or even say I needed to upgrade the driveshaft. I specifically asked them if I were to upgrade the clutch/flywheel or driveshaft first which one should I do and the answer was driveshaft. Given their previous experience I can see why now.

yeah, maybe they didn't know about the ridiculous dual mass setup on the 3.7....they break just looking at them wrong. the flywheel ford put in to replace the broken one was already coming apart after 5k miles when I went to the ACT setup. already had a bunc of slop In it. how much was the super six driveshaft? mine is smooth as butter so im not worried, but as a upgrade in the future its a good idea. but if I remember, they didn't have a price posted on their site...I hate that lol.

Price on there now says $795

Where can I look at the ACT setup? Only options right now are RAM and Spec and I didn't hear good things about Spec customer service. I contacted Exedy and they said they don't have a fitment for us.

Power wise the procharged v6 is about the same as a GT with some good bolt ons. We have the same driveshafts and halfshafts as them, but it seems like more of them are changing the halfshafts before the driveshaft. Am I missing something?
I have a MT btw and upgraded tires. I'm concerned I'll snap the halfshafts before the driveshaft would go. I'd love to do the supercharger, clutch/fly, driveshaft, and halfshafts all at once.....who wouldn't hahah

Just a FYI that Procharger is now using SCT X4 tuner in their kit and they shipped me one last week. I installed the new tune and it did wonders for the drivability of the car. Before I had issues with the transition into boost at 2-3k RPM. WOT was fine but if the RPM was too low I would get a hesitation. Now it transitions into boost seamlessly and the car drive like stock, until into the boost and then it just screams

That's great news. I'm glad it's getting better!
