UK Mustang delivery

For those that used the 7 day insurance when did yours start? Just got an email saying mine starts tomorrow but I don't pick the car up until Saturday. Will the dealer sort this out or do I need to do something?

I just did the 7 day insurance thing on the day that I picked the car up.

Just checked the WWL website and it has the status 'liner release'

Can anyone tell me what that means? The Tarago is still in the middle of the ocean at present

I believe it means that the documents for the car has been sent to the port in Zeebrugge, mine updated with the same thing halfway across.

Mine started day before I picked up the car. Then on the pickup day ford insurance called me asking if I wanted a quote for the year, already had a quote from directline @ £202.36 comp for the year. After 20 mins with ford asking all kindsa drivel, the quoted me ....£890.00.....:eyebulge:. Guess what I answered...

Insured for 7 days from the day I picked it up. Ford insurance couldn't get near Direct Line's quote though.
Had to laugh at A plan's quote : £2.200.00. Girl on the phone said according to her colleague it was because it is a mental car.

That's cheap, a couple of years ago I got a £40,000 quote for my Evo 8 :eyebulge:

A plan will be calling me later so will see what they say.
Will give the dealer a ring today as I also got a text saying my car was booked in for work to be done on the 17/07 that's got me worried!

Does 'delivered from' Zeebrugge' mean anything anymore?

Got an update this afternoon from WWL website that now says that my Mustang has been 'delivered from Zeebrugge'. As my understanding was that this meant it would be on its way to UK imminently, I emailed Stacey to ask where and when (and on what ship) it will arrive.
But her disheartening reply was 'This vehicle is currently at Zeebrugge waiting to be allocated a vessel to the UK. Please feel free to contact next week for further update on this'.

It's been in Zeebrugge since June 21 when WWL said it was 'discharged'. I taught the 'delivered from' update was a development worth noting and meant it HAS been allocated a ship. Now, I'm not so sure.

Stacey hasn't got the email update telling her that the car will be booked on a ship yet. It'll be coming, just wait, don't panic, if she hasn't emailed you by like 3pm tomorrow... then maybe you can panic.

When it says 'Delivered from' it usually means it's booked ready to get the heck out of Zeebrugge and bob along to Southampton on the Saturday morning
