A quick one: now that the most recent batch of Mustangs are landing on peoples' driveways, are there the same complaints about the underseal applied at Zeebrugge?

Surely (!) some feedback has reached Ford there and they've started to improve their work? Surely?

(Or are they so congenitally cockeyed that they'd miss a 10 foot wide urinal?)

It'll never get better, they haven't got time to do a proper job or it'll take so long you'll be waiting an extra year for cars to arrive as the back log would be huge.

Have a look at mine. Picked up a couple of weeks ago.

Admire your optimism though :)

Yes, there are a couple of good places over here.

The local Ford dealer has already sent these pics off as part of the warranty claim (along with the body panel stuff), but I think I'll shell out and get it done properly.

Im sure ford would do it properly, end of the day, it's not ford undersealing, it's an external company who ford contract to do the underselaling who do them on the masses, for thousands of cars a day... If you were to have yours done individually I'm sure it'd be better!

I understand there is a tsb coming out to rectify the delivered cars so hold on getting it done yourself
Since I wasn't notified about the actually dangerous wiring issue I shan't hold my breath to hear about this one either. However, if true, I shall certainly be having a conversation with my dealer about the +£400 I paid to have my done.

If we can find this TSB it's be great, after changing my exhaust there was no underseal under where it was - shock horror. But also my mechanic-mate under it kept commenting on 'ooo red' and 'ooo random spray marks' on the under side, followed by 'well the underseal is a bit sh1te aint it'

Fortunately there's none on the inside of the alloys, a bit has caught the inside of one of my tyres but frankly I don't care about that.

I'd trust ford would do an adequate job should they bring these cars back and do it under warranty/recall, and would prefer such to be done.

Second wind is caught of such I'm sure each and every one f us on the forum will be down our dealers throats for it....

Anyone fancy a call to 'Dave' from the warranty team to speak to him about it being done / getting done / a tsb occurring? Or anyone got that teams number and i'll do it...
