So about a week ago my wife seen on Facebook that "Dream Makers Automotive " out of Fort Wayne Indiana, was hosting a exotic car show. My wife said you should see if they would register your car to show? I sent them an email and they said " Ya a Shelby would be kinda a nice little addition" I've never have shown a car before so I wasn't sure what to expect, especially an exotic car show. First let's say I was one of the only domestic car there. It had at least 3 Lambo's, 2 McLaron's countless Porches, 3 of which were GT 3's, 4 Nissan GT R's several Farrari's, you get the point. I know performance is a big part of the Shelby GT 350, and its comparison to such cars at the GTR and Porscha GT3. Well these pics show something else, just look at the attention between them. The Porscha was 2 cars down and 1 of the GTR's was about 4 cars down from me. These pics were taken from my son about 5 min apart.

Again sorry it's a little confusing but these pics were taken just a few minutes apart, my GT 350 had more pics taken of it than just about anything there. Performance aside holy cow does my GT 350 get attention!!

Your car looks great man! No surprise your car drew a crowd.

The GT350 has spoiled me. Ford showed the world what could be done on a $50k budget, and it really puts all other manufacturers to shame.

Unless some other manufacturer makes a NA, high revving(doesn't have to be FPC) V8 with manual and RWD, that the average Joe can afford, I am all ears. Until then, there's only one car one the road that matters, and that car is on it's way to my dealership.

Also, your wife is cool. for her giving you the lead on the car show.

Your wife sounds legit. Pretty cool that she supports what you're into and actively encourages you to pursue it. I know some wives who could learn a thing or two from yours. Your car looks great.

That's great your car is on way Shift. I just could not believe all the people that walked right by the Audi R8's and other exotic cars to see my GT 350!! It was by far one of the most photo'ed car there! I couldn't even tell you how many people took pics of the deck lid cobra emblem. Lol

The car is new, that'll happen. When I had my GT-R and it was new, same thing. Gets rather old when the first words out off people's mouth is "How much did you pay?"

You have to understand that GT3 is what 3 years old now? GTR is even older than that. Of course shelby will get more crowds. 3 years from today, I bet the new Zora corvette will get even more interest:)

No, I beg to differ... There's something to be said about a low-volume, Corvette beater that garnishes a horse in a corral. People love an underdog. They expect that crap from a P car or a Lambo, but not the Mustang.

As for the GT-R, seen one you've seen them all pretty much... They're kinda bland on the outside. No disrespect as the GT-R is a real freaking beast.

Don't get me wrong, the GTR is an amazing car but even the selection of other cars there was actually amazing. I still drew a huge crowd, and only half of them were drinking a Budweiser and wearing a beater tank top styling a mullet hair cut, lol! I even heard on a couple of times " if I could pick any car it be the Shelby! I just seen so many people walk right buy $100+k cars to see my GT 350. Two different people wanted engine pic,s with the builders name tag, and the pic's of the emblems was unreal. I felt good knowing my car is someone's phone screen today! I never got asked how much, just a lot of tech info, I think the GT3 guy got a little annoyed when I told a guy that Ford built this car to run with cars such as the GT3. Lol
Regardless it was my first show ever and the car just drew attention in the masses!! Very proud owner here!
Thanks Ford you designed and built an amazing car!!:ford:
