Any videos of drive-by's, or in-cabin acceleration?
We don't have any video's of an in-car acceleration, but at the end of the video we posted has a short drive by clip.

I love the sound of my exhaust. Currently on the MAPerformance resonated catback with catted downpipe. Easy on the startup, nice tone when you punch it, and it has no drone/raspiness. I previously had the MBRP race with stock dp. I hated it because of the drone and fitment.

Thats odd cause I have the resonated catback (no cat dp though) and I could not drive with that exhaust even one week, the drone and more importantly the reverb through out the cabin was extremely unacceptable. I had to cut the mufflers off and weld magnaflows as axle backs.

I wonder if the removal of the cat was the reason for this, but it was beyond bad.

Been lurking around the forums for a while, but I've gotta comment on this thread. I'm a total newbie to modding the car. I love the setup that you've got Wulf. I got gifted some flowmasters from family and I was worried what it would sound like with the resonator deleted. This setup sounds pretty awesome.

What kind of y pipe did you put in place of the resonator?

When it come to 4cy motor I am very very paranoid and skeptical because the truth is, 4cy motor never really sounds good especially when you are used to v8 (ex 2011 cali special grabber blue 5.0, ex 2013 DIBM 5.0) However, after countless research I decided to take a chance with a catless private label DP mated to full Borla S-Type. Let me tell you...video is never going to give you the full sound quality and it wont do full justice. With that being said, this particular setup is just perfect, it surprised me. I get so much compliments its hard to drive anywhere without someone praising my car. The best part with my setup is you get absolutely zero drone and when you push it she whistle and roars. I wish I could have recorded how I really wanted to but I decided to cut it short due to the the so called "noise caring Samaritan" lol. I will post more clips later.

I think people need to research what drone is before they say their exhaust has no drone. If you put an aftermarket exhaust on your car it will drone.... How bad it will drone will depend on the exhaust you have chosen. I currently have a muffler delete that everyone claims it doesn't have any drone and I can tell you from personal experience that the muffler delete does drone but it's a small amount that's not annoying.

I have aftermarket exhaust with some custom bits and mine doesn't drone. While cruising, it's as quiet as stock and only comes alive with moderate throttle.

All the Corsa exhausts I have bought over the years had zero drone . So I know that its possible to buy one that doesnt. Just not sure if one is available for the ecoboost.

Completely not true, at least for me is not because I know exactly what drone is.Trust me, I dealt with it plenty of times especially when I was into subies. One thing I hate is drone. Im a part time audio engineer/producer so I am very sensitive to sound. Tbh, I expected some droning with my setup especially due to no cat. Catless exhaust usually create and change the original sound characteristic, then add the 4cy motor on top of that and we usually have a honda lol. However, my setup surprised me. Cruising on tbe highway theres absolutely zero drone. That boomy and bass like drone character is not there. I love it! I guess my homework didn't disappoint.

Borla S-Type for cat back and Private Label catless DP. Borla offer 3 type. Attack which is the loudest and sound bad ass on a coyote than the middle, the S-Type which is what I have than the quietest which is touring.

Trust me...these video clips doesn't really catch the true sound characteristic. You really have to hear them in person.

That's the biggest thing. None of these exhausts sound on film like they do in person. I've been through a few configurations with mine until I found the right balance of tone and volume without negatives, like drone.

Thanks for the feedback! It is just a no brand Y pipe made and installed by my local exhaust shop in Texas. Fabricating + welding & labor it only cost me $80. I saw no need to spend $250 on the Flowmaster one. The y pipe made it way louder but it's pretty quite if your foot is not in the gas. It also added more drone whereas with just mufflers i got zero drone.
