it's no issue, it's like 4inches over from where it would be... Only issue people have is with the cup holders being our side (due to the handbrake being wrong side) therefore shifting with drinks in there is an absolute pain!

Picked up my car last night, first impressions? A little bit underwhelmed if I'm totally honest :eyebulge::paddle::ban:

I'd asked them not to clean the car as It's being professionally cleaned and protected by a detailer today, so it looked dull especially being black which didn't help. And although the wheels are 19's they looked lost in the arches but at least I can sort that.

Also, the car is also WAAAYYY too quiet for a V8 Muscle car, so glad I've already bought a cat back for it which is being fitted next week. And the last (very slight) disappointment was the power. Now I'm pretty confident once I get a dry day and a few more miles in it I'll get much more out of it but I felt the throttle response and pick up was a little slow. Definitely needs a few seconds to get going.

All being said I was in a miserble mood to be fair and maybe the long wait and anticipation built it all up into an anti climax. I'm looking forwrd to picking the car up tomorrow from the detailers though, will get some pics up a new thread when I do.

Right, I now give up.

Just been to the Dealers & they can't / won't finalise documents and / or finance because the Vista system states delivery on 7th July.

Yes, 7th July.

Stacey just emailed saying there's no movement with the car in Liverpool.

I'm going cold turkey with Mustangs now. I've done all I can but just hit brick walls. In fact, it's getting worse. 18th to the 25th & now 7th July. It's a joke.

Annoyed isn't the word.

Yes I thought that when I test drove it but I think it needs to be a dry day and put into Sport, as normal mode seems far too 'delayed'. Also the fact Chris Harris says on his review that it feels every much as powerful as the figures claim, must be something to do with settings/weather

Vista is irrelevant for the financing of the car, if the car is there, then they can finalise the documents and paperwork...

I assume what's happening is:

Dealership wont prioritise car because they dont want it on their lot early
dealership have told shipment company not to bring it until week before or week after 7th july
Stacey can't actually control the cars at this point, but she can get info on them, it's currently up to the scheduling team (Which will be effected by your incompetent dealers), and your dealer (whos incompetent).

Demand that the car is prioritised to be bought to you, and don't buy any of the crap they spiel at you.

I'd be getting annoyed if i were you, it's all to do with shitty dealers that we're all having the majority of our issues, and it should be up to ford to fix it.

The level of morons that're employed by ford can only be described by the one ass-hat i had the ever enjoyable time of talking to on facebook who proceeded to call me a 'Bellend' '****' 'Dick' 'Cocky' 'Arrogant' 'Big Headed' 'Know it all' and a 'wanka'. Which severely pissed me off, so he got a warning before I sent a copy of the chat to Andy and his GM, because that's no way to represent Fords brand (or any brand). (Fyi, think James and Graham saw this dispute).

If my dealer was half as bad as some of the ones i've seen here, they'd be having hell unleashed, i thought mine was originally bad, but compared to some of the atrocious behaviors i've seen, i've got off lightly :O

He's on holiday now until the 21st hence my cold turkey.

Might have a few beers on Saturday night. Might have more than a few :clap2::cheers:

When I change in a few years (if I change for another mustang), I'm gonna chose Dealer very carefully & set standards & demands.

Yeah I'm sure it'll perform better once it's dry and particularly when I'm more familiar with it, always the way when you get a new sports car. I tried it in Sport mode last night (a bit hairy in the wet) and then Race mode this morning in dryer conditions on a dual carriage way. Roll on tomorrow when I pick it up.

Now to order some spacers...

Mine has only been in wet mode (when will it stop raining? :headbonk:)
I haven't been driving it too much as I still don't have plates on it, although my aluminium plates arrived this morning so I'll be able to drive her further away from home now.

About time, what took so long from it leaving Zeebrugge? It's not like it had far to go.

I'm in the same boat as you, I was given those dates as well. I would not be suprised if I am told July.
An absolute shambles. If I had come across this forum before I had ordered I dont think I would have bothered, and I certainly wouldn't recommend anybody ordering one now.
