Freedom has been sitting of the South Coast of Cornwall all day but has change it's destination to Zeebrugge, arriving 2 days earlier than planned ETA 9/06 21:00. Slightly painful that the boat is most likely going to just sit in the channel for a couple of days! but happy that the cars alot closer!

It will be slowing down a little due to the amount of shipping there, English channel can be one of the busiest in the world. ETA in WWL still says the 10th, there maybe a vessel already at the dock and must try to arrive there to coincide with booking and tug availability. I have been on countless tows to ports worldwide and its usually the same.

My dealer called me yesterday and give me that date now also. He also said that as mine bought in N.Ireland it may come through Dublin and not Southampton may speed things up a little but no holding my breathe on it.

Had a reply from Stacey yesterday to say that it's likely to be on the Autostar on Friday but they are waiting for the final load sheet which they should have end of the week to confirm

Already told the dealer it's likely to be in S'ton on Saturday/Sunday, not that I'm confident that makes any difference

Stacey told me "The chance is pretty high!" still think it will go from 18th June to first weekend in July (2nd/3rd) for pick up.

That's what I am thinking, its a real pain in the arse now I am completely pissed off.
It has taken the shine off of buying a Mustang, I wish I had bought a used c63 amg now.
I thought it was supposed to be Ford's halo product !

It's just the expectation setting that's at fault. From my point of view, I was told 9 - 12 months until delivery when I ordered the thing. If it turns up late June / July it will be 8/9 months so actually at the early end of the range I was given.

If we were "normal" customers and went away quietly after ordering expecting to hear from the dealers 9 months later we'd be delighted to get a call saying it had turned up a couple of weeks earlier than the original estimate.

If it's a week later leaving Zeebrugge then surely that only adds a week to the pickup? It's not as if June is a particularly busy time for car dealers - not like it's a reg change month

I nipped into my dealers yesterday, same with me on the drop back to July 3rd.

I'm fast approaching the 12 months since ordered date. Not a clue why mine has been so much longer than other people on the forum?

Unless my dealer just took ages faxing the order form or something?:frusty:

But as Stacey/Karen previously stated, they are expecting approx 1300 cars. It will have to take a while to distribute them across the dealer network once they land.
