Let me add that the Redline struts sport the longest brackets, which prevent the hood's tendency to buckle at the attachment point during closing.
I drilled my rubber battery cover one step-drill-size larger for better clearance around the bracket.
And just loosen the two passenger side hood nuts, followed by inserting an alignment tool (or drill bit, screwdriver, etc) to align the bracket and hood holes for the water line clip.
