Just got my lightly ported boss on along with 47s. Waiting for dyno time to do my data logs. But would like to make sure I have all my vacuum hooked up correctly. Could anyone chime in to verify please.

I connected everything like stock but was left with booster line and a jlt small connection. Both ends are male so I capped both off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hooked up incorrectly in the picture. The top closest plug to the throttle body on the jlt is what I capped off. Both the booster hose end and the fitting on the jlt.

Thanx dude. I replaced both gears, I think it's cheap insurance. Waiting to do my initial data logs on 93 than e85. Hoping to make power all the way to 7700-7800.

Update.....if anyone cares. Was going to sell but decided it's too early for me to get a suv. Will try to keep the car as long as I can. (Injury getting in the way of being able to enjoy the car most days hence the 3900 miles since December of 14)

There was not enough hood clearance to top of intake and it scratched the top of the boss. And to be honest, my base tune with the boss and 47s on pump 93 was well.....it had misfire faults and ran like crap part throttle with a huge dead spot. Went and did 2 third gear pulls on a dyno for the logs as requested. And drove the car back, ran like crap for the most part. Spoke to my tuner on numerous occasions and was told it may be mechanical. So I removed the intake, inspected and reinstalled. Smoke tested for leaks. None found. Reloaded the tune and took the car for a spin. Still ran kinda crappy so I didn't really get on it. I decided to reinstall the stock intake and load my flex tune that I never tried. (Still running pump 93). Ran like a champ. Not wanting to risk running like crap I stayed with the stock intake and have since fueled up with e85. Runs like a raped ape. I have since had the boss ported and refinished. Bought lowering mounts, 2step/no lift, new boss gaskets, race stars with Hoosiers and 18 inch front runners up front.
If some funds free up I'm just going to pickup a vortech and a full e85 fuel system. Than install the boss. I've been doing some reading up on the forum and have found some great info. So this is where I stand now. Looking to go 11.30s with e85 and the wheel tire combo

That sucks that you couldn't get the tune dialed in. My tune on e85 has been spot on and pulls amazing, I couldn't be happier with the setup

I was really looking foreword to it. I loved the sound of the boss....but it's ok sooner or later I'll get it installed and dialed in.
Any track times?

How much louder did the car get with the headers? How do you get around emissions?

Honestly it sounded like a whole different car. Completely changed the tone and dynamics of the sound for the better. As far as emissions ill probably just throw the stockers back on until the monitors cycle, I didn't feel that the header install was very hard. I just got my sticker for this year but I skipped emissions because it was new last year so I don't need to worry about it until next August

The gt-350 intake is testing better then the boss and cobra jet and no engine mount adjustments needed!

I noticed, I've been doing some reading up and noticed the power differences in boss vs cj vs gt350. But I have quite a bit $$ into this setup and I love how it looked and sounded. I figured combine the boss with a centri blower would be the way to go. Just not sure if I should get a procharger or vortech. Looking to make around 700 wheel on e85 and going low 10s. Not sure if I would have any issues fitting a vortech on a lowered motor. Haven't seen anyone do that yet. Just finishing up major home repairs. Once that's complete I'll give beef a call.

I didn't need to do anything but remove the plastic cover on top of the manifold and put a small rectangular notch under the hood. I too am going centri soon, the boss was the best investment considering the price and my future mods
