My dealer has agreed to honour the original price before the £1000 price hike due to another branch`s cock up and delay in ordering, and that is the least they can do.
Good luck getting sorted but it does seem a lifetime waiting !

Isn't TrustFord the (only) dealer chain that is actually owned by Ford? In which case they should be begging Andy Barratt to bail them out. Our good buddy j-rowe14 is a TrustFord dealer so one of them must be able to help you out.

Thanks for all your support guys.
Just an update:
So far the best they have come up with is to amend a demonstrator order to my spec but the order was brand new anyway, dated 18/5, so unless they can bump it right to the front of the MY17 production which starts in June I could be waiting until December or January.
Andy Barratt got straight back back to me on landing back in the UK yesterday and promises to get his team on the case on Monday, Stacey has also promised to help but hasn't made contact with my dealer yet.
As I've pointed out to my dealer this is a great opportunity to demonstrate the strapline which Trustford proudly display "We drive the standard in customer care"
Watch this space for the next installment.

Not much to report other than that I heard indirectly that Stacey was prioritising my replacement order. I have emailed Stacey to see what this means exactly in terms of timescales.

So disheartening to see on ETIS that my original car is now made so if anyone wants a car with absolutely no toys, I don't see who would though, talk to Stacey as it should hit uk end July.

Heard nothing back from Andy Barratt but he may be helping behind the scenes as far as I know.
I've had to put on hold all the road trips I had planned later in the year for the Mustang.

Nice to see most of you enjoying your cars but really feel for Twiggy and his ridiculous saga.

Will most likely mean a 5 month delivery from order instead of 8-12. Pleased your sticking with it. Will be worth it for sure.

I would consider asking them to build it after June.... then you will get the MY17 changes, including SYNC3... or did you order one of the discontinued colours?

I've seen the order and it's definitely a 2017MY so the earliest it will be built is some time in June but I've heard the MY16s have overrun past end of May so when on June is anyone's guess even of it gets prioritised to the front.
Other than SYNC3 I don't think there's any news of other changes. My colour is still Ruby.

Fair enough - when it gets down to the nitty-gritty I think id be pushing for one of the first RHD '17 builds.... if you manage to get one built in end June, leaving Baltimore end July, leaving Zeebrugge end August, perhaps a mid-September delivery?

The only way to get any kind of 'prioritised service' is to push for the build slot - once its built you are in 'the system' and the grind will be just as long as for everyone else, save perhaps a few days in Southampton if your dealer gets very shouty with the port people.

Strings can be pulled with build slots, no doubt about it. You just need the right person to pull the right string.

In theory, nobody better to be pulling strings than Stacey and Andy but rest assured I won't give up on the pressure.

V8 GT fastback auto with custom pack in Ruby Red and then I discovered they had missed off the Custom pack 2 days before build, they had never checked the order. So basic car no navigation, no sound system etc. And hence no good at all to me.

Thatll be an 'interesting' car to try to sell on in the UK.

Me thinks someone at Ford management will be getting a new company car!

Heard from Stacey today that my new order is being prioritised for July build as all June slots are allocated. So that means I might have a two month delay if build is mid July or maybe less as Stacey will expedite the delivery to the uk asap.
I'll probably take delivery just as the P-Zeros are at their worst!

Ask them to fit all weather tyres pre-delivery as a goodwill gesture for royally fu:censored:ng up your order. It's the (very) least they could do... and would cost them next to nothing as they'd have 4 P-Zeros to sell on to the next non-forum member Mustang owner to walk through the door.
Best of luck.
