I mentioned this before but got shot down. But that's how I think it works. You are effectively losing a months tax for the sake of a couple of days.Unloaded in Zeebrugge then expect it to be there about 2 weeks and then onto a boat to UK.
Question for those expecting delivery shortly, if it's available this weekend, would you take it? Wouldn't we lose a months tax at the end of the year for the sake of waiting until the 1st? I assume a car taxed for delivery in the 28th is backdated for whole of May? Whilst I want the car the thought of having to pay for tax next June for the sake of waiting a couple of days says wait for me.
Depends how urgently you need or want the car, and if it's worth, say, for the sake of argument, 50 odd quid.I mentioned this before but got shot down. But that's how I think it works. You are effectively losing a months tax for the sake of a couple of days.
Mmmm, that's a difficult one, I see your problem...... nah, sod the taxProblem I have is that if it is ready this week/weekend then I am unlikely to be free until the 29th anyway (busy on Saturday) so then I'm stuck with the scenario of picking up a car 2 days before end of month or waiting until Wednesday...
)So you all can have another child ;)?By the way, if Ford UK are reading this; all of us who have cars in Zeebrugge would like to have their cars done, dusted & delivered by 18th June ready for Fathers Day on the 19th. (go with this is your waiting & don't have kids)

If that is the case then great but I can't find anything online about them being able to do it. I'll be asking the dealer as and when he calls to tell me its ready but who knows when that is actually going to be...I think you will find a dealer can tax a vehicle for one and one week, so you would not get this problem![]()
