Hi all,
I've had my GT for around 6 weeks now, and on a few occasions I have noticed a slight temporary loss of power, usually when changing into 3rd and giving it some welly.
It only happens occasionally and is very difficult to reproduce, but it feels a bit like the engine is starved of fuel (maybe misfiring - hard to tell), like when I open the throttle the fuel pump doesn't react fast enough ?
It could also be likened to what traction control feels like when it kicks in if you pull away too quickly, but I don't think it is that - I have only noticed it happening in 3rd gear, and it's happened on completely dry roads in a straight line.
The power loss lasts for maybe 1-2 seconds, then all is well again. I will have to take it back to the dealer to look at, but first I want to try and nail down the conditions under which it occurs, so they have a chance of reproducing it.
Anyone else have this, or know what it might be ?
thanks
