twins, a 10-speed, aluminum body, 3.0's, and a variable vector transfer case?

Have fun waiting for your v8, I'm going play.

I'll take the booooost also. Even my wife's Explorer Sport is pretty peppy for what it is.

Family hauler, for now
Even in the regular 2015 F150, the 5.0 V8 gets better MPG and has better performance then the 3.5L EB V6. Some people just can't stop drinking the 6-cylinder kool aid

Gas mileage, yes. Performance, no. I've driven both in stock form, and currently own a modified eco. For towing and such, the 5.0 can't match the EB.

Potential, on the other hand... The 5.0 has far more potential when modified. That's why I have a GT.

The difference is freeway mileage. Around town they are the same but the 3.5 gets much better mpg cruising at 70 mph.

I am a truck guy and asked my dealer about a 17 Wraptor on how much. He said list and price will be in the $70's if not more. I can't see paying that for a truck that wouldn't be doing a job or specific use. Just my take. For that price I can get 2 Dodge Sport 4x4 crew cabs. Just bought one 2 months ago. Love trucks just not good investments and at $70+k definitely not in my book.
As usual your listening to a sales rep. They will start out in the high $48-50k and finish in the low 60's.

I don't know where most of you guys been but the 2014 Wraptor 4 door list price was $62k with NO ADM loaded up. That is why I never bought one because dealer wanted near $70k to start. I go through 2 regular vehicles a year on my business travels because of mileage. I closely pay attention to the REAL costs of a vehicle because when you put 70-100k miles a year on for biz I have to look for the best bang for the buck, driver and client space accommodations, room for samples and supplies, AWD or 4wd since I travel the whole country 12 months a year and resale based on mileage ratio. Ideally I like trucks because they fill they bill in most spots but once the threshold goes over $45k for me it usually is a total loss whether I love the vehicle or not. Next is SUVs again threshold is $45k. If I knew I could get into a Wraptor for $55k I might pull the trigger but I know it is absolutely impossible because I think starting list price will be around $60k then add 2 options and delivery and you may be at $70k plus without ADM or taxes. Also my dealer will sell me a Wraptor below list!!!! And they are still telling me prepare for $70k. Also my dealer has put in my application for a GT and it has been approved. Only thing is owning a car that costs $400k is a hard prospect on numerous fronts whether it appreciates or not. Running costs on this vehicle will be in excess of $15k a year and then you got to worry about it all the time. I went through this with my 06 Enzo. Had 1 of 2 black Enzos in the country and every time I pulled it out had a parade behind me following me for miles. All I can say is I have owned 100s of vehicles and currently go through about 4-5 vehicles that I drive a year without vintage muscle cars, collectibles, etc. I am very realistic on the Wraptor and when a loaded out F150 can approach $65k right now? Really?

I drive a 13' raptor now since new. I'm actually going to unload it next year for the new super duty. They are bad ass and the new raptor is just blah to me. And most definitely.... If ANY dealer is asking adm for a pickup they should be laughed at.

Approved as in your getting one, or approved as in the application has been submitted? It was my understanding that approvals would not happen before the application deadline of May 12th.

Im not sure about your stats; I think the eco boost V6 beats the V8 5.0 in every category according to the videos I watch...more torque, better towing, quicker ET 0-60 etc... I am trilled about the V6, and frankly would not of bought another one with a V8...

I'd say that's a Wrap.
