No I didn't prioritise it, I did tell them it was in Southampton though and they asked how I knew so I told them Ford UK head office told me, not sure whether it played apart.

Might have helped lol, I played the reverse for my dealer as everyone probably knows, I updated my dealer on my car, every step of the way, no point them guessing and such or waiting. Take the initiative, follow up, hold the dealer accountable for the delivery, get your car when you want it rather than when they tell you (If you're an obsessive control freak like me :lol

Just printing off my "Manders Check List" ready to read on the train journey from Bedford to Hull in the early hours Friday!

Then driving back over the Humber Bridge, cruising down the A1 man and Mustang...

Hope it goes well matey, what boat did yours come over on? I'm now picking mine up on Saturday, weather is looking dreadful on Friday down this way, don't want to be putting it into the garage wet as I don't fancy sitting up all night with a hairdryer ;-)

Not sure of the exact ship but it got to Southampton on 17th April and then chased the dealer to get it asap - a bit of a delay but still ahead of schedule :-)

That's a fair question!

I am getting the car through my company and used a broker who has a relationship with a dealer up there - I did visit the local Mustang Specialist in spring last year but they had no prices, could not take an order (although they had a mustang sat there in the showroom in Bedford) and never came back to me to this date with a price or to take my order!

Ironically there are both in the Evans Halshaw group but from what I understand they do not communicate with each other and work very separately...

I will get the car quicker by collecting and could have it delivered but I felt what better way to get to know the car than a nice long first drive...

It has been a long wait and for others it will be longer but I am confident it will be worth the wait!

A fellow Bedfordian here as well. I've got mine comming through Evans Halshaw and my personal experience with them has been ok, although I did enquire and place my order much later than you. I Look forward to seeing you on the road very soon

I have never seen one on the road here for over a year until last week when I saw a CO driving down London Road! A friend has said they have seen it too so it must be local...

I am aware of someone else in Bedford getting their Race Red GT next month too so we will no doubt be seeing each other and will have to meet up for some photos and to rave about the cars!

I think Evans Halshaw have some in their showroom on display don't they?

Someone last week told me they saw a CO ecoboost at the interchange retail park. They reg checked it and found it had been registered the very same day!

They may be getting the race red ex demo at Bedford. I wanted to test drive it this weekend but it had already been sold. They're replacing it with a Triple Yellow GT which was there but won't be ready for demo for another month. They also have a silver ecoboost in the showroom.

I originally placed my order at Milton Keynes as Bedford still wasn't taking orders at the time. Then suddenly Bedford became the local Mustang/Vignale dealership and so I moved my order over.

I currently drive a 2006 Blue Focus ST (white stripes down the sides), so if you see one flashing you and the driver waving his hands all over the place that will be me. I haven't seen a Mustang out in the wild yet so hopefully you will be the first

You could see your first one out and about in the wild on Friday as I plan on visiting a few people in and around town that have been asking me when I am getting it, every time they see me - since I ordered it....

So had 2 emails today. 1st Stacey has said my car is on its way to the docks. And now deysha has said it arrived yesterday. Not that it really matters but glad to hear it's moving!
