MPG after Supercharger ?

if I drive like a gentleman which never lasts for long I can get 21-22MPH ,whipple tuned

I wonder why it seems like the procharger kits get better gas mileage? Not starting a war here, but i've always read that procharged setups get stock MPG or even better. Seems strange to me.

To me it sounds pretty simple. It is much easier to stay out of boost and drive the car basically as stock with a Centri if you prefer to do so. Hence the higher low end torque on the twin screw. It comes on faster.

With my new tune for my procharger (604 HP 562 TQ ) I get 16.8 in town ...Because I can keep my foot from stabbing the damn throttle ...
