I think the WIFI is to ensure ALL S550 drivers get to keep up to date with MM's latest posts on M6G :p

(in all seriousness, I do believe it's just for software updates)

Most phones do that anyway. ie can become their own WiFi hotpot.

I was hoping that Sync could use the phones Internet to use Google for inputting Sat Nav searches and checking traffic.
The satnav already checks for traffic problems along your route and allows you to accept or ignore so as to reroute or carry on the route as you are. TIP: Have the notifications acceptance set to manual so you can choose to reroute or ignore, otherwise the sat nav will go mental trying to reroute every time it finds a traffic problem and will do your head in!!

Mind you, if someone tells me how to turn it on and have it connect wifi to my home wifi i'll give it a go and see if I can figure something out around browsers etc for anyone that wants it as a cool pub trick ;)
You can find the WIFI option with settings and then connections IIRC.

Cheers chap  Will have a gander through later tonight, or if not, when I'm doing the rest of my piping on the interior as that comes tomos/weds.

Will look at getting like chrome onto there from my phone, or using windows smart share to hopefully ping it across from my computer, doubt either will work, but will try just for the sake of seeing

Indeed, no harm in trying something to find out, if it doesn't work, at least you tried and know it doesn't, saves others the stress of doing it.

Will report back end of weeks regarding wifi and if anything can be done with it. Very sceptical, but will try :)
