First off, I'd like to give some pros of this bumper. The paint quality is great from Steeda. Color matching was good. The aesthetics of the bumper look great on the car and keep the oem look but add some aggressiveness to it.
I didn't take pics of where it asks you to trim the peaks on the abs radiator support, but I assume the thickness of this bumper is so much that those peaks push up on it. The plastic is thicker than OEM unit.
Here's the inside part where the fogs and switchbacks mount.
I had to trim some more of the swat mesh but here's the whole inside.
Here is where the screw goes through and is too long. Just be mindful and use a shorter screw, that's it, just do that. It's the upper middle screw in the instructions and on the housing.
On the OEM piece, the rubber seal clips in all the way across. On this piece you need to trim some of the rubber because the part of the bumper that kicks out on the end is solid and you can't clip in the last two clips. The seal just sort of sits there and instructions say to glue it on.
The two existing holes don't really line up with the fender liner, I just drilled myself a new hole and used the provided bracket to mount the liner to the lip.
As you can see above, the bumper is slightly lower than the OEM piece so you need to use that bracket. Now, mount the belly pay on the PP to all the OEM locations on the subframe and the front of the pan you can actually just pull down some enough to flush it up and not leave hardly any weird gaps anywhere. I just used zip ties until I figure out a better mounting bracket. The provided brackets on the instructions look like they are intended for the non-PP pan and didn't really line up with anything already existing so I chose to not use them at all.
There was a slight gap that I was mostly able to eliminate after this pic. But others were having a slight issue. Best advice is to try to push the whole piece in and slowly screw tighter. If it feels like it's not tightening STOP or else you'll strip the hole out.
It's on! Damn it does look good.
