I bought the GT with perfpack about 11 months ago. Believe it or not I just recently started raggin on it from a dead stop. I mean I always drove it like intended as in reaching high speeds rapidly or entering curves at nearly twice recommended speed. I can say ive never had a full out drag race in her. I'm very satisfied with its road tracking manners but everyone's question has usually been "have you tromped on it and smoked the tires?" My answer is usually "well havent really laid into the throttle from a dead stop, but Im sure she'd have no problem laying down the rubber." So lately the time has come to put the pedal on the floor. The results are not what I expected. I once read a post on here somewhere about a member discouraged that they had unexpectedly poor performance attempting to do a burnout without the line lock. I can now see where they're coming from. No matter how much I tried flooring it my end result was a shuddering of wheel hop for a very brief moment. No blow the tires off roastem wheel spin though. I really thought with the 3:73s I would never worry about failing to burnout. I've concluded many factors come into play here but first am curious of the members input and experienced knowledge. Sorry bout the long post.
