Should be less. Most people have had the wheels come back weighing less because the lighter barrels. Lighter and wider.I bet 2 pounds more?
I'll be sure to take weight comparison before and after.Should be less. Most people have had the wheels come back weighing less because the lighter barrels. Lighter and wider.![]()
Can we eliminate the toyos since they don't come in that size? The mickeys are probably more trouble than they're worth unless you're running significantly more rwhp than stock and doing track days often. Even then, I'm going with a stage 2 procharger this summer and won't be getting the MTs because mine is a daily driver. Poor wet traction and short life, plus they are so soft they fling rocks at your wheel wells and "feather" quick. The nitto nt05r is probably slightly better than the MT.Test fitting the wheels/spacers and a set of 335's (not the tires I'm going with but the shop has them laying around).
I'm stuck between what tires I should choose.
Toyos/Nittos/Michelin Pilot SS/Mickey's
I'm going to go with 305/35/19's.
Any downfall to SS's other than price? Can we eliminate the toyos since they don't come in that size? Maybe someone who has had them can reply?Any downfall to SS's other than price?
MPSS is a great street tire , nice balance between traction and treadwear . First thing I change on all my carsAny downfall to SS's other than price?

Pure speculation on my part: for me, I know they don't look all that special but, man, I've repeatedly read on their forums that BMW, Porsche, and Corvette folks use them for track days A LOT. That, plus the ridiculous 1/4 mile times these car mags can get out of bone stock cars on those tires (see 2016 CTS-V)!
Maybe ask someone on here with a GT350???
Hmmm, well if these don't have any downfalls I'm going to go with these.MPSS is a great street tire , nice balance between traction and treadwear . First thing I change on all my cars
What 335's are those, what's the whole size?Test fitting the wheels/spacers and a set of 335's (not the tires I'm going with but the shop has them laying around).
