There wasn't supposed to be any drilling of the Redline ones (as least not the strut brackets themselves) but it is apparently necessary to make a minor modification to get them to fit the RHD cars. I'd suspect these might be the same as the link does specify LHD models.

Thanks... have emailed MRT to ask (and looking at the Redline YT installation video, it also involves cutting the battery cover...)

Speedy reply back:

Hello Mark
The 2015 - 16 Mustang Hood Strut kits will not fit the European RHD models. We have not done any test fitment on a RHD model at this time to know if they will work or not even with modifications.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at anytime.

Thank You

One each... it's fairer (though possibly not that practical...)

The MRT struts will still allow the battery cover to be removed ... which is something beneficial. Might have to get a set of MRT struts myself.

I noticed in the installation video for the MRT struts that the guy didn't install the bracket lined up with the fender flange on the bottom strut bracket. Would look better if they were installed straight to match the fender flange.

Also, if you watch the video closely (video published Jan 30, 2015), and then look at the photos on in the MRT link, it looks like the bracket on the hood side is different than in the video.

So which bracket is the one they are currently selling? The hood side bracket in the video attached to both hood hinge bolts ... but the photos on their site looks like it only attaches to one of the hood hinge bolts. I don't like the design of the brackets in the photo below that only use one upper hood hinge bolt.

Update - not so good reviews on the MRT struts:

Steeda have RHD compatible ones available now. I dont have any in stock right now, as the first batch has yet to arrive, but we have made them specifically to work with UK / EU cars.
What about the strut braces though?
