I've been dealing with an internal battle on whether or not to sell my big turbo Ecoboost and get a GT350 or sell it. Unfortunately I saw one for the first time in person and lost that battle.
So yesterday I called about 100 or so dealers, most of which in California.
The best I could find was a 10k markup. The average was 20k markup.
I finally went to search out of state and locked in one at 5k over in writing which was reasonable to me and is only a 6 hour drive from my home.
I ordered just a basic GT350 in white with blue stripes and cannot wait for it to get here so I can take it to the road course!
Now I just need to put my Ecoboost back to stock and sell it.
There are quite a few threads here asking for help finding one at msrp, or finding one in general. After going through this I can say that it's just pure laziness.
You need to put in the time and really call around, it got monotonous but here I am.
This section has been really helpful with tips on what to ask and such so I wanted to thank all of you who put time into posting helpful information!
