there are worse problems to have in this world, however I will agree with [MENTION=14692]Aus-MustangGT[/MENTION], would be nice to reward the early adopters - even eith a discounted upgrade option

Similar thing happened with my Merc A250, several months after the launch there was a hardware upgrade to the COMAND system. Early adopters missed out there too.

As well as the new colours, Ford Australia have also included Sync 3 on their website with the note "SYNC3 standard on all models commencing June 2016 production. SYNC2 standard on all models prior to June 2016 production."

I gave him the details of my car, comp orange gt, Sept order, NSCY976, and asked him if my car would have Sync 2 or 3.
His prompt response was Sync 2.

That makes sense to me. My take is that because your order is Competition Orange and that colour will be discontinued post June, your build date will be moved to pre June and thus receive SYNC2

I think Lightning Blue is quite different from DIB. Have a look here. Dirty car admittedly:

I think I prefer DIB. Lightning looks a little lighter, with a silvery tint to it that accentuates the lines a little more perhaps.

As for Grabber Blue, not my cup of tea either. Too retro for the S550 in my view. But I'm sure someone will like it.

i contacted Ford this morning to see how the extra 2000 effected our build, got told we have a nov build date so around end feb delivery,thats longer than they told us when 1st ordered! so where are the extra 2000 going?

As I have already said, the 2000 extra cars are only to fill the orders placed after 30 Nov 2015.

Not sure about the other 2, but for FoMoCo employees it is infact the opposite :lol: as they have only been designated few cars per month. My order was originally estimated to be built in April, but Ford Facebook didnt realise it was an emp. order. When they checked, now the new estimate build date is in June :frusty:. The limitation for the number of cars coming in for FoMoCo employees per month is so that the priority is given to full retail paying customers & not Ford Emp. orders, which I think is fair enough.

"Ordered" by the client with the dealer OR by the dealer with Ford ? :shrug:

Ordered mine with dealer and paid deposit on 28 Nov 2015 but dealer Vista order date is 18 Jan 2016.
