No?

Unaware of GM Ignition Switch Lawsuit?

GM posted a $1.9 billion dollar profit last year I believe. It is reported GM has spent over $10,000,000,000 already.

So, I would like to know how the Camaro intends on being anything if they don't sell any cars.

March sales come out tomorrow, I feel the Camaro went NOWHERE.

I guess you missed the BILLIONS they had to pay out for criminal charges?

They lost nearly 10 Billion, or about 5 full years of profit.

Do they train you people in a special facility?

Those pesky fines, fees and recall cost
10 Billion? You sure on that?

Once again you said they were out of cash. This shows otherwise.

General Motors reported fourth-quarter earnings this morning. ( Photo: GM Photo)
Record profits of $6.3 billion for the fourth quarter and $9.7 billion for 2015 generated $11,000 profit-sharing checks for General Motors' nearly 50,000 UAW members, but GM stock continued to slide Wednesday.Feb 3, 2016

You need to go through your facts again buddy. Not unlike you to make up numbers and everything. Lol

I'm surprised you people argue with him still. I'm pretty sure you'd have a better argument with a brick wall.

Word. I took your advice and put him on my ignore list. Best thing I have done on this forum. He is just here to get people to argue with him.

The last z28 couldn't handle the GT350 at $75,000 with the LS7.

Live in that world for a little and apply it to your current situation. Not looking or feeling good.

The recall alone cost nearly $5 billion... so, yeah... out of extra cash. That is why you get a parts bin car and pay more for it. They killed a lot of people and need to pay for that one way or another.

There were some 1/4's that zero profits were maintained. But that's none of my business how they pay for profit sharing checks

While the family's of those they killed wait for settlement.

For example, 2014 profits were $6.6 billion before taxes and interest. However, after the initial recall cost and fines, they only made $2.4??

You don't get to see the impact of the lawsuit anymore. It causes investors to sell...

I'm glad you fell for it though...

Did you know GM counts a Federal Tax credit towards a majority of the companies net worth? That is fantastic

They also gave $9000 checks out in 2014, don't ask me how they pay for anything.

Oh that's right, the customer pays for it

You might as wipe your tears early, a GT350 competitive z28 is the funniest thing I heard today.

I'm pretty sure pretax numbers are fluff for investors... pretty much...

This would be the only company in history that their $8.8billion wasn't affected by the $5.4billion in Ignition Switch Recalls, $900million in Federal Fines and god knows how much in private and legal settlement. 300 of the 399 were awarded compensation...

So... I want to know, how does GM post record pretax profits while paying the above dollar amounts.

It's fantastic that only the 2014 numbers were impacted by $3.2billion... I'm not sure how they paid the rest

...and this is why they are still selling cars ;)

You see ladies and gentleman, what dumb dumb here doesn't know is that, the $9 billion they boast about? $3.2 billion dollars of it is a TAX CREDIT. If you LOOK at the Jan 2016 stock price (almost $34), it falls to $28 in Feb 2016.

Not only is $3.2b of that $9b imaginary, this is also pretax, interest and fees, fines and, profit sharing checks. So, how can you post a $6.4b Q4 profit if $3.2b of it was a tax credit? Which is WHY they posted a record $9b in 2015... and because GM withheld this from you, all of you now look foolish.

Good night...

Why? His posts are hilarious, especially lately all the replies on how GM killed everybody. I think you're missing out!

I mean no one says you have to reply to him.

You can still see them if someone replies.

I just did it because I'd end up responding to all of them if I didn't. He's entitled to his opinion just like everyone else. He'd also probably be an interesting person to have a beer with. Just sayin.

I just know I have issues not arguing back with people and he can push your buttons till you explode if you argue with him.

I stopped awhile ago. He just keeps saying the same things over and over again until he wares you out and don't want to reply anymore. He likes to stir and knows how to get under peoples skin. I like to have conversations with car guys, not with a guy on a agenda.
