The flames and interior I took as being April fools but the other bits I see as a genuine list, hence the response about them because those parts are not totally out there lol

Thinking of doing away with the stripes anyway and put ghost flames on the front. I have a mate who is learning air brushing and will do mine for free.

Something like this

I think you should get him to tattoo them on you too, upper arms may I suggest. Walk around with a wife beater, grow a mullet and munch on wheat?

Ha ha,
It was difficult getting the balance right. I was just going to do the Orange wheels but it just grew. It was hard getting the balance right between something you thing I would really so and something so horrid you would all guess its an April fool. But really!

The wheels are Junk.

The rear window louvres, nice idea but they are horrid with that drop in them.

Bonnet bulge. Yeh, I wouldnt mind a Roush type one but a uni fit cheapo, nah!

Bolt on driving lamps? I had them on my 1977 VX Chevette!

Wheel arch flares...err yeh, maybe with the right wheels.

Rear Spoiler- There are better options that a uni fit race spoiler.

Orange seat covers - really!

Flames, maybe but by a guy who is learning! On my Stang? Err no!

Done properly they'd be awesome.

Here's a mock-up of a front end I was considering:

Lamps would be mounted behind the grill so you wouldn't really notice them. Shouldn't affect the radiator as the original grill wasn't completely open like this mesh.

That could actually work really well... hopefully the lights done come out with mesh imprints. I like the grille though. Like legit, with the tripony looks cool af

That's the bonus of mounting them behind the grill; you can't REALLY see them and even when you notice them, they're behind the grill so any aftermarketness is hidden. Just a pain in the ass having to remove the bumper and THEN fab some brackets. I'll have a good poke around when I take it off to fit the grill.

I think the mesh is thin enough for it not to be an issue.

Someone over here has already done something similar.

Apparently the photo is a bit dodgy and it looks OK in person.

Not for me, and not sure about the Shelby emblem on a non-Shelby'd car either.

Just read today's posts on this thread and thoroughly enjoyed it :)
