41rwhp and 20rwtq less is a lot considering that the only change on the car was a tune. Dyno comparison was done on the same car, same dyno and same day.

I can understand the claim for longevity but Lund is acting like all customers have the same goals. I drive my car 5000 miles per year and I am insane when it comes to maintaining my cars. My goal is results for the amount of money that I have spent and will end up spending. 41rwhp and 20rwtq less with Lund's tune is not the results that I paid for.

I would have been fine with my Lund tune if my logs would have looks similar to the ones that Travis posted in this thread here http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43888
Heck, my ECTs and ACTs are always lower than the ones in Travis's logs with a 93oct tune. Yet, Lund had my tune even more conservative than Travis's even after me trying to get him to just bump timing a little "was at 16.8 and looking for 18.5" and leaning out the A/F just a little "was at 11.2 and looking for 11.5". Lund said NO to my request so he shouldn't be surprised when someone like me gets pissed.
it is and it isn't, every degree of timing up to about 25 will yield 10-20 rwhp depending on the combo, so pop in 1-2 degrees and lean it out a little will get the job done

i'm running 24 degrees of timing on 25 psi, lol

Damn, 24 degrees lol beast! I think that the most that I would want would be 22 degrees on ms109. But, if I was a vendor and got stuff at cost again, I would push it to the moon lol. I miss all of my wholesale and distributor accounts lol.

Is there a difference in Warranty if you used the Whipple tune that comes with it as opposed to a custom tuner? Just asking cause if Whipple decides to put out more power, and warranties it, then it is a no brainer for me. Again, I am just getting in here late to the party. I had a JDM tuned Saleen and a few others, but I am WAY behind the times here.
In order to have/keep the Whipple engine warranty you must use the Whipple tune.

Hmmm been reading and I know I am late...But I thought, at least the last time I talked to Ken at PBIR, that Ken and Lund worked together ? Or Ken was doing Lund tunes ? He's on his own now ? Lol....sorry for the thread jack or not being informed here..

Ken worked for lund racing, power by the hour is a lund vendor, just as we are, ken happened to live close to pbh, so occassionally he would tune in person vs remotely.

ken is no longer with lund and on his own

On the datalogs in the column for timing, is that only what the timing is set at by the tune, or does that number include any additional timing added by the knock function?

SAFTOT on the ngauge logs is the total timing.
