IC install next weekend

My Levels IC should be delivered on Wednesday and I am looking at doing the install next weekend. My wife will be at work while I do it, so I need to make sure I have everything I need before I start. I found an install guide on FFTec's website that lists the tools needed. So, I thought I'd throw this out here to see if anyone sees anything missing from this list, or anything that you recommend having that would make things easier. This is what FFTec's list:
1/4" ratchet
Various extensions
5.5 mm socket
7 mm socket
8 mm socket
Flat screwdriver
#25 Torx screwdriver (I bought a socket, which should hopefully work just as fine)
10 mm socket
13 mm combo wrench
12 mm combo wrench
Saw or snips to cut ABS (not sure if I need this if I'm not keeping the shutters)

See anything missing?

Yes, my car on jack stands in your driveway :lol:

The single most important tool is the one used to get to the screws inside the fender to get the bumper off. That will determine whether it takes 15mins or an hour

I mean, if you want to park your car in my driveway and put it on some jack stands, feel free. Mine will be in the garage, on ramps, with the front bumper sitting beside it

I do have a tune. But, I don't plan to update the tune til May. The only thing is that I might get a CEL due to the shutters being removed. But, I've been assured that it doesn't hurt performance and that is 100% safe to run as is.

It's not too hard... But, you will need a few extensions and some patience to get to the stupid bolts that hold the fender on, inside the wheel wells

I never put them back in and have had no issues for 25,000+ miles, panel doesn't pop out or nothing....they are a waste

I've seen a bunch other posts that say the same. So, are you saying it's not safe to run without re-tuning?

I believe those are 7mm. You'll need some kind of angled/bending 7mm ratchet wrench to get to those. I personally just snapped my clips off, now I never have to deal with those screws lol :tsk:

Also I'm pretty sure there should be no danger in running an upgraded IC with the stock tune. It's just with that particular IC you have to remove the grille shutters so you will get a code without a tune

I didn't remove my bumper to do the install wasn't to bad with a buddy's help

A solo intercooler would probably be fine. Its not 'technically' a power adder, but more a timing/efficiency mod...doesn't mess with boost, airflow or fuel directly. But you will have more available power on tap. I coupled mine with a tune so I can't say for sure, but I'd imagine with it installed it would be like running the stock tune with fewer timing corrections due to the lowered charge temps.

I was referring to an intercooler in general, not the levels ic specifically. The tune is to cancel the active grille shutters.
