Then you understand me when I say "when you can get a GT" is not relevant to cost in your question as much as your question was hinged on the MPGs and low use of their car over a GT 5.0. You could have just left out the whole cost thing and ran with that. =)

drove it off the lot on August 2, 2015 with 4.6 miles.
Within 100 miles I installed a Turbosmart bov and an Airaid intake. No tune.

Since then I've done one oil change at 4K miles.
Currently at 9600 miles

Most of my driving is city driving, about 60-80 miles a day.
Averaging 24.6 mpg since I bought it.
Never put it on the track or really driven it too hard. (Only driven in sport+ mode for under 100 miles)

I bought mine used with a little over 16k mikes on it. When I picked it up I noticed the mpg was at 16.4 if that tells you anything... No mods yet but the cai will be here today. If I don't put an extended warranty on it then I plan on modding the hell out of it with the wife's approval of course.

I want to put the Cobb stage 1 tune on it still debating because of warranty. I might even go have it dyno'd at a local shop just to see what she's pulling stock.

Just over 18k miles Since Jan 2015. Started modding about 3k miles if I remember right. Love the car. No issues. Mods in my sig.

Mine is one year and one week old, 8200 miles. DD. Never smoked, runs great. Had it up to 120mph once. Full synthetic oil at 5000 mi. Only mod is a JLT cai vented to atmosphere, winter wheels and Blizzak tires. A few cosmetic mods. Debating on which catback exhaust to buy in the next few weeks (so hard deciding from YouTube videos) think I have it narrowed down to Magnaflow comp. race or MBRP race. Maybe the Gibson or Cobb catback if I go with their tune or a stage someday. Any exhaust suggestions let me know. Considering the fact that I was looking for a decent gas milage daily driver, and was going to buy an Accord or Camry I'm glad my coworker talked me into looking at the ecoboost Mustang, having lots more fun with the Mustang!
