All that aside - I've ordered my new front plate from Demon plates! It's a square plate as close to the dimensions of an American plate as I could get. £20 including a fitting kit (which hopefully is just some 3M tape).

FFR, American plates are 152 x 304mm.
The plate I got from Demon Plates is 152 x 330mm.

People wont notice the extra 2.6cm in width.

I only had an issue with Pierre. Terry the GM (not the one who you're dealing with) is absolutely spot on. He's helped me out no end, just have to look at what happened yesterday, took the car off me & straight to bodyshop. It's back today with resprayed bumper, new clips and now they're looking at the water ingress issue.

Pierre was pretty useless. But he now works at Audi so he can keep up the useless German car tradition ;)

So happy to hear that they didn't mess around with the repairs. That's better service than my dad got at Mercedes Benz, and that's supposed to be the "premium" car brand.
