I ordered this custom grill kit. I didn't realize until I pulled off my front bumper that my lower grill is not like the upper. My car is a 2015 GT Premium with PP. Is this right or did I not get the right grill?

Pics Here.

You have adaptive cruise and have a module in lower driver side grill that will not allow the grill to fit.

I am currently modifying mine to work and here are some pics of what had to be done.

I do not have adaptive cruise. I didn't pay for it any way. Is that what that black pigtail is in the front? It was not connected to anything.

Then it should fit with no problems. The reason you have that lower grill from factory is usually because of the module being there and any other grill not providing enough room.

If you don't have the module like I do in my pictures there is no reason it shouldn't fit.

The upper will be fine but I don't see how the lower is going to fit? You have a different lower grill from what I can see.

Looks like another $80.00:) Like it matters at this point, LOL. Just can't believe I didn't notice that before.

It appears you got the wrong grill from the factory.
I assumed so, I already ordered the correct one from Amazon. I can't imagine Ford would be any timely help on that anyway. Boy those grill tabs were fun, no swearing there at all:rant:

I hear you on the tabs. I've removed the grills a couple times now and using a screwdriver to pry and then pull with your hand makes it come out easy. Post pics when you're done. I used the xxl diamond grill from CCG.

I will do that. I have a black pony going on front. Going to work on a bracket for the new pony to mount to.

I bet you have a block heater. I remember discussion before that it came with a different lower grill and I see you are in MN. Might be what you mean by the pigtail too?

No I think it's for the adaptive cruise. I ordered my car from Ford with neither adaptive cruise or a block heater. They ran the pigtail up to the front but there is nothing connected to it. It was zipped tied and attached to the lower grill with 2 metal clips. I am chalking this up as a manufacturing issue. I will find a place to hide the pigtail.

That's looks like a block heater. I can tell you with certainty it's not the adaptive cruise plug.

Huh, I assumed it would have had the AC plug on it that far up.
