Build Date 21 Jan but no ship?

Hi Guys,

I've got a Build Date of 21.01.2016 but the 2wglobal site is saying "no tracking". What does this mean and how do I find out where my car is? (my dealership has tried but can't help)

More than likely your car is somewhere between the factory and Baltimore port - tracking won't go live till your car is booked on a boat. Send a FB pm to Ford Australia with your vin and they might have some updated info

Could be small delays post build fixing up stuff (upfitters).

Yes, not all cars head there. But any QC issues will go there first.

After that it's usually 3 - 6 weeks on average before it's booked on a tub.
So probably anytime now.

same for me as well actually except built date of 15 01 2016
mine has been sitting on the dock since the 20th Jan 55 days

Times seem to be all over the place from time of build to the docks. Mine was built 10th Feb and sat at the factory until 10th March before moving to the docks....... where it will sit for another month I imagine

I would send a PM on here to FordService asking after the status of your vehicle, give them your VIN. That way you can establish it has left the factory, if it is still at the factory they will give you an update on status, otherwise (as was the case with my car when I enquired) they will say left factory gate and they can't update status from that point on.

btw, I was at my dealer on Saturday and my salesman Glenn said he had a customer that had a build date same as yours with a missing in action status. Snap perhaps?
