That's with no mods fyi. I just had another bit of drama that insurers were coming up with 1100 for car no mods on which was making me flip sh1t.
Sure it doesn't feel like it, but insurance isn't really that expensive for you younguns nowadays - I was paying over 900 quid for my 205GTi 1.9 (hope you know what that is... ;)) when I was 21, that was a lot of cash almost twenty years ago! To be paying pretty much the same figure now for something worth a lot more and with 400hp is really not a bad deal for you!I'm sure you've already tried but have you gone through Aviva? They were the only company to quote me less than 3k for insurance on my GT. Got it for 1k exactly and thats including the catback.
