Have you asked your dealer for the Vin number, they gave me mine about 2/3 weeks ago and you ordered about the same time as me.

I did ask dealer to check for me but after several unanswered emails and phonecalls I just contact Stacey nowadays.

Thank you for your email. I have checked and your Mustang does have a January build date. Due to the Waiting list process that was instigated in January there were over 1500 orders ahead of yours which will have to be built first. I hope the dealer informed you of this.

Everything is still on track and when I get a VIN for your Mustang I will email you back.

I'd send them an email, don't do it via here, send it to the Ford email they gave out. I'm sure you must have a VIN number now, even I wasn't expecting a Vin back in December.

Last email from Stacey@mustang was yesterday. Here is my update. Strange how no Vin has been issued tho.

This vehicle will go for build this month.

November i was told End of Year (2015)
December i was told end of year again
Early Jan i was told early Jan
Mid Jan I was told built.
Mid jane i was also then told it'd be build 02/02/16 (this was my actual build)

There was a big load of 'odd' planning and communication around november->Mid jan and a lot of people were told odd dates etc.

As twiggy said write an email to [email protected] for an update .

2 weeks before build you get your vin
1 week before build you get your window sticker which has blend date

it'll be soon it sounds, stay positive

I am inclined to drive up to Inverness and ask to see what's in the system on his screen as emails aren't being answered by them at the moment.

Personal preference is i'd stay away from my dealer for updates on my car as he seems to think mine will come before the end of March, not sure how in 7 days he'll get it from Zebrugge to Birmingham but more than happy to be proved wrong if he can lol. Your call SSC, depends how badly you need to know
