At worst I plan on doing LTs with high flow cats. But not for a long time.
In that case, I'd run the Xtreme for now and then trade mufflers with somebody when you get the long tubes - your sport mufflers for their touring mufflers. The Corsa makes an awesome note and sounds great through the entire rev-band. It's loud enough with the cats in place.

Good idea, or I could get the touring now and swap for the sport later. Either way good idea.

Yep! Lots of options, just remember how they pan out in terms of volume.

Volume chart:
1) Corsa Touring Catback - Still loud, but not as loud as the Xtreme.

2) Corsa Xtreme Catback by itself = Same volume level as Corsa Touring cat-back + catless long tubes. *This volume level and sound is perfect for a DD, IMO.*

3) Corsa Xtreme Catback + Cat Deletes/Catless Long Tubes - Words cannot even begin to describe how loud this thing is. I drowned out a viper last night on the way home from the gym. Didn't even know he was there till he pulled up next to me and gave me a thumbs up. He said he was running a full exhaust as well but I couldn't hear his at all while I was accelerating.

Im getting a corsa extreme too in a few days, and im really bothered by the aspect of cold starts.

However, when doing my research someone wrote that they immediately put the car into 2nd gear and roll out when starting up, thus reducing the cold start.
So they park the car so they can go straight ahead in 2nd when starting. No reverse or first.

I dont know if it works at all.

It's loud. I live in a quiet neighborhood. I leave early (6am).

I leave the garage closed when I start. My family could sleep through nuclear Armageddon, so they are fine. But I feel bad for my neighbors.

My bad feelings dissipate once I get rolling.

Yeah I dont leave till about 6:30 and by then everyone should be awake anyway. And I dont leave the apartment at late/early times. Mostly just to leave for work and when I get home.

Anyone that works nights will be going to sleep but its not like they would be in deep sleep yet anyway.

I just dont like being an asshole when it comes to noise and neighbors.

Thats pretty loud indeed. But I think the super 10s and x pipe I have now is louder. Or maybe the same. Appreciate the video.
I had super 10's and long tubes on my 2004 gt. I lived in the same apartment complex I currently lived in. Never had any complaints from neighbors about the sound although I know it was loud as hell. My neighbor drives a STI and has a deep baritone fart cannon that honestly is louder through the walls. I think the deep thrum is more noticeable to your neighbors than the raspy throat of the Corsa systems. At least that is how I justified ordering the extreme catback to my wife. UPS says monday so I will update ya if I have any death threats from the neighbors.

I did have a chance to hear a buddy of mines extremes cold start in his neighborhood the other day, its loud but shouldn't last too long.

BTW grew up in eastern NC! Sure miss all the considerate people like you haha, people around me currently don't even know they share the same planet as others

It's loud on cold start up. Not annoyingly loud but loud enough. It quiets down very quickly though as it warms up. 30 seconds and it sounds like a slightly modified car. Nothing over the top.

But once you get on it...well that's a different story.

I've not heard an Xtreme in person yet. Looking forward to hearing what all the fuss is about :D

Anyone have any idea of the decibal reading this exhausts make when on it? Racetrack wise we have a decibal rating we have to comply with.

I think they advertise a 24dB increase over stock which in the US is 74dB. Can't confirm at what RPM, distance etc though
