Allocation available in South Point Ohio

Just got a call from a dealer in Ohio I contacted while doing my search for a gt350 end of last year.

Terry said he has another allocation.

Figured I would pass the info on if anyone is looking in Ohio for a allocation they can build.

I asked how much they were looking for and he said 5k. I think it's worth a try to work them down.

Remember this, no car is worth a PENNY over what the manufacturer claims it should sell for. This ADM shit is disgusting and is indeed illegal in a lot of european countries. We need to stay strong.

My main predicament is wanting a base GT350 since I have no need for the extras, and don't want to pay the extra 5-6k for 2017. But I think I'll just wait for the upgrades on the 2017 if I can't get 2016 @ MSRP. If I'm going to do it once, might as well do it right

I live near the dealer and have been in there many times. Great group of guys but I left with a bitter taste in my mouth as way back before any cars even reached lots they told me they would sell me their allocation built to my spec for msrp. I get there, specced out the options I wanted, was ready to put a deposit down and he comes back saying I can have it for 5k over msrp if I put down a non refundable $2000 deposit that day, otherwise they were marking it up 10k over once it arrived. I said thanks but I wasnt willing to pay over msrp especially after I was initially told otherwise. Good group of guys there salesman wise, I believe the change of heart came from higher up than the salesman level, but it still left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I have not went back since last summer.

That sounds like greedy group of guys instead of good groups of guys.

Well I have never dealt with management or finance guys. I hear finance can be a bit pushy but I have no personal experience. The sales guys are quality people, especially Fred and Quander. It sounded like it was a last minute managerial decision to go back on their word. I dont hold the sales people responsible for that. They have a solid reputation in this area and are highly rated. I think just the nature of this car can cause certain proclivities of people to show more. If a dealer wants to charge over msrp for a vehicle that is their choice. I just didnt appreciate being lied to.

I hate ADM though that's not how capitalism works. They are worth what people will pay for them.

Pretty certain they sold a particular shop their GT350 and if I were a betting man I'd say they sold it to him for sticker..

I just ordered my track pack car 3/4 for msrp from another dealer. So happy I waited.
