I was expecting Manders to bite a bit harder I must admit, he just aint taking the bait. Either that or he hasnt realised I am joking!
I remember we used to think 'anything north of tut Watford gap' is North and Newcastle is in Scotland (come to think of it, is Newcastle on the NC500?)

Anyway, sorry about hijacking your thread Manders and I am up for your 'Up North' meet when you do it.

You could, but there's not enough room to park anymore than 7 cars (Squished) on the drive/garage. :lol:.

Could do Shelsley as well, it's a bit more south for those whom are from the real south!

This looks like a cracking idea! We'd probably need to contact MAC and arrange something to make sure we all get tickets for the same parking area. As it happens, I've just booked into the March 13th one - as usual fingers crossed for good weather

Happy to do a meetup after delivery in May/June or pop along probably if car not here but not a lot of interest in Dyno or track really. Nice cruise out for lunch is more my thing.

I'm in for the "Mini Manders Monthly Midlands Mustang Meet" ;)

My preference would be a nice country pub, with a large car park that we can take over, and linger about for a few hours. Hell, I may even make a weekend of it. Going on the success of Guildford, it could be a big one - especially somewhere more central. For me, I'm not too interested in the track/dyno day.

March & April are looking busy for me but May should be a much better month, better for weather too

I echo this.

Just a case of finding somewhere with a large car park. Ideally somewhere not too grim, to make it worthwhile for those traveling a long way. I'll rack my brains (and have a look on the internet).

Checked out Hooters car park in January and its a reasonable size but if the place is busy, I think we'd struggle. Probably not ideal.

With Hooters if you ring and book and tell them you have a collection of Mustangs turning up they may close the car park for us. You never know. That said it is a bit central Nottingham and I guarantee at least 1 person gets lost trying to get there.

Four oaks in Birmingham would be where i'd be looking for the pub, most have large car parks, they're in nice area's not sh1thole parts of Birmingham or the city center
