Organise them all, I do have a day job as well, (as much as my forum activity may beg to differ ).

On a more serious note, i'll look into them all, any help from anyone on the events would be appreciated - I'm up for all of them, and if there's enough of us in/around midlands we cna organise 'more regular' meets at the pub!

@Gibbo205 was totally joking about the cornering matey. It's still a decent track just for a somewhat 'easy' drive around, and if we want to stretch the legs I should be able to write up a decent 'long stretch' set of village roads and what not, I live nearby and know all the roads very well, so know all of the long 2-5mile straights we've got around there that you can bomb a car down. Just hopefully it doesn't end up like Need for Speed with us all running from the cops (Joking ofc).

I will sort the dyno day once we have a date and time as long as people want to do it :)

Need for speed lmfao

Pub meets are always good & Curbourgh sounds great! Always good to have road knowledge :)

My DS would feel at home on a track ;)

I'd rather not be doing filming on public roads, just do the circuit and get the layout setup to give the longest straights, so nascar style. :D

Another reason I wouldn't wanna do it. If I am down 20bhp on the published figures I will go away unhappy. I would rather not know!

Curborough sounds perfect to me.

Yep, Midlands meet sounds good. Plenty of places to go - I think there was another thread where there were a whole stack of suggestions. A few other possibilities I can think of; Gaydon (National Motor Museum), Bruntingthorpe, MIRA (if they allow people in?), Donington Park (the museum part) - or similarly to Newlands Corner, does anyone know of an unofficial Sunday morning car/bike meeting we could tag along with?

A heads up on Curborough - it's a bit tight and twisty for Mustangs. It was a bit tight for my Westfield! Unless you have a car set up for sprinting or hillclimbing, with a very pointy front end, you're just not going to get that much out of a day at Curborough. My Westfield was a full-house circuit racer and the corners were just too tight to get the front end working without massively changing the geometry/springs. So a road going Mustang would struggle I think - or bring a spare set of rear tyres and use plenty of right foot! ;)

Isn't Derby up North?
They're midlands technically.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nottingham
Its urban area is the largest in the East Midlands and the second largest in the Midlands
It's up north for any southerner's, but that's the point, it's a meet for the Midlands, and any southerners can come up should they wish, as can any northerners gives a nice mid point meet for those up north and those down south... to come to, well, the Midlands, ;D
