Hi, I just received my Flight Control cal and thought I would create a thread for all of us to share our setting and experiences with them. Maybe after we get a bunch of people commenting I can create an Excel file to keep things organized.

I thought we should keep editing our individual posts with results after trial and error and hopefully this would keep the information easily found.

These are the factors I thought we should compare. Let me know if you think something should be added or deleted from this list.

Anyway, these are exciting times for us Whipple guys & gals so let's share our experiences!

Thanks for sharing Jason. Your setting look good and most likely what I am going to start off with. I look forward to hearing your results when you get to work tomorrow :)

Is their a help menu or explanation of what some of these functions do and how and when to use them. I've read the flight control thread that Dustin started but some are not listed like.

Injector duty cycle limiting??

Overload limiting??

You mean the computer will reduce power when injector duty cycl max is met?
The PCM will not limit power when the injector is near max. As there is a small variance in injectors, DC, fuel psi, in some cases it may just clip 100rpm too soon and it might have 2-3% left.

Working on one, haven't had enough time, been a busy few weeks.

Overload is that you can't overload the system, meaning if you put a 2" pulley on, which would make 25psi (estimating), the PCM would not allow it to get there. It will essentially limit it to the 3.25" pulley (estimate).

Sorry I guess I'm hard headed, but I still don't get what your saying. Could you use an example of why someone would use it.

So in this case it clips the amount of MAF or airflow/load that can be achieved and over that max it starts to reduce throttle angle? Is their any other reason to use this other than putting a too small of a pulley on?

Running 58's and making 695rw and you want 700rw but fuel psi is dropping and the calculated pw is clipping so yo can't rev anymore. Turn it off, monitor afr and you will have enough fuel. We have a X% buffer between calculated max pw so there is usually a touch more capacity.

If your running a 3.25", in a cold climate, sea level, making a lot of power with a degraded fuel pump, this will limit capacity.
