Brilliant, you guys dont miss a thing do you.what is an Upfrade?
Nice to see your car on their facebook anyway!
Can't get a single thing past anyone on the forums, I get called up on my sh1tty typo's all the time!Brilliant, you guys dont miss a thing do you.
Thats part of what I love about this forum.
I do hate my car looking RED through. No offence to Race Red owners but I am sure if your car looked orange in pics you would be pee'd off.
Cant wait to take a pic of mine next to a race red!
Great write up, it's everything I expect the car to be, trouble is you are making me want the car even more, which is making the wait even more unbearable, bet you have long forgotten the waiting time now3 month review.
Yep, three months! After all the waiting and frustrating prior to taking delivery, I have now owned and driven this car for three months and 3700 miles.
Unfortunately the review is going to be very similar to the others. I fricking love it. If this was a girlfriend I would want to spend every minute of everyday with her and I would jealously guard her from everyone I know. I would not want to let her go out on my own and I would be so protective and possessive that I would end up losing her...............just give me a few seconds to gather myself here, I am still trying to get over the day that Sally told be its all over when I was a young 16 year old......
Anyway, moving on.
I am over my 'lack of power worries' now. I am used to the 'bit of a lull' there is around 2 to 3 thousand revs.
I still love the attention and really thats it. I still love every single journey I make.
I remember a time, I dont know, I guess about 3 months ago whe I used to get frustrated if I approached a set of traffic lights just as they turned red.
I dont now
Oh when I would get stuck in some traffic thats not moving fast enough.
I dont now.
Or when the Mrs would send me to Tesco's because 'we dont have any Yorkshires' for the Sunday roast.
I dont now
Why? Well, because I like being in the Mustang. Whether I am sat at a red traffic light, cruising in traffic or popping down the shops. I love every minute spent with this car.
Just one more thing that sums it up.
About a year or so ago, my boy got home from school and realised he had not taken the house key (its okay, he is not 3) so he rang me. He got a pretty frosty reception and I told him to get his bloody bike out the shed, cycle to work and get my one and no, I am not going to drive home with mine.
He rang me yesterday and he had done it again. The trouble was, the bike had a flat tyre. He rang and asked me if he had to walk to the office to get mine.
I said "I am on my way son"
He has got such a cool Dad! I am so 'Money Supermarket'
No, I really have not and I still get annoyed when I read the threads where you guys are still waiting.Great write up, it's everything I expect the car to be, trouble is you are making me want the car even more, which is making the wait even more unbearable, bet you have long forgotten the waiting time now
I've only been here a few days but I already know this is the only review I need to read to remind me I've made the right decision during the 9(?) month wait I've just started!3 month review.
