I recently got an nGauge to tune my GT. I'm trying to add a map file to the SD card, but I have the gauge in my A/C vent. I don't want to take the dash apart again, so I was going to connect the gauge to my laptop directly via USB cable.

However, it just won't connect to the laptop at all. I tried multiple mini-USB cables (data cables, not charge cables) and two laptops, so I'm almost 100% sure it's something with the nGauge. Any insight? Maybe drivers or something?

Edit: I'm an idiot....

After you connect the cable to the Ngauge, you have to "connect to USB" from the Ngauge's menu.

Main menu>diagnostics>usb SD to be exact.
