Any seating cooling updates...

There was a flurry of complaints in 2015 about the cooling seat units, either not working at all or very little cooling. Some Forum members were trying to redesign/repair the units. Others complained to Ford.
Now...no discussion for months. Did everyone simply give up...deciding that Ford didn't know how to fix the problem?

I believe there was a TSB issued for it. You can just take it to ford and they fix it for you under the TSB.

It didn't fix crap. Same issue with the seat backs not getting cool. I think it made things worse.

I gave up. Ford definitely doesn't know how to fix the problem. The cooling feature was the ONLY reason I didn't get the Recaro's. Obviously I regret that decision now.

Same! I like the recaro's but wanted the cooling feature. However, I ended up not having either lol.

Mine cool more in the buttoxial region and less in the lumbarian region. I'd say the nut-freeze factor gets a little on the annoying side while my aching back still isn't cool.

But... cooled seats on a 80K MB I've tried weren't much better. It's kind of a gimmick, IMO.

mine aren't too bad its hard to tell without having been through a summer yet though. But my Grand Cherokees cooling seats were a god send. I also thought it was gimmicky until I owned that thing

I'm with Skatz - got mine too late in the season to really test the cooling, but LOVED in my last 2 Infiniti's !
