Should be getting released soon, for it to meander around the medows of flatrock for a week or so until it jumps onto a train and heads down to Baltimore to meet the rest of the herd.

I can't see that video about the ship, but I assume it's a tipped ship with car's on.

I saw a video on facebook a few days back of a super-car carried toppled over, and there's Mac's, Lambo's, Rari's, Astons etc all on the flood smashed... That's more like what'll happen to my car, probably crash right outside the dealership too :frusty:

It was majoritivley rari's (Ferraris) and there were some others on the bototm level of the transporter... Yeah, that'll be my fking mustang knowing my luck :frusty:

On a serious note, it is of a ship in very heavy sees taken during Gertrude storm a few weeks ago. Given the high winds we seem to be getting at the moment, I wouldn't fancy being on one!

Hope the Taraga has a smooth crossing. I would expect bad weather can play havoc in terms of in-container damage.

That particular vid had a GT500 as one of its casualties too!

Oh so it's not all that Cruel, quite tame for you guys! Hopefully whatever boat/method of transport/viking ship/pirate ship Karen gets my car on, it doesn't get battered around too much during a storm.

I assume these carriers are quite well made to resist such weather ( i cant see the video ) but high waves, wind, rain, I doubt would be much of an issue, the cars are quite well fastened to the decks...

Damn that looks like a rough result! Surely ferrys are less secure than CAR TRANSPORTER SHIPS?

It appears the Tarago is docked on the opposite side of the harbour, and a bit further out than the usual loading point for recent ships. I wonder if this is where the vehicles will be loaded or if it is just waiting to be moved on. Might explain why the batch of vehicles going on were 'delayed'. Maybe they were offloaded from the train there (possibly in error? or by design?) and all earlier vessels have docked in the usual spot.

I'm pretty sure that they get tied down on car transporter ships, on a ferry you just put the handbrake on and hope for the best. Car transporter ships would go through rougher areas like the middle of the Atlantic but ferries wouldn't go out if the sea was too rough, well they shouldn't.

Yep I think our Mustangs should be safe. I actually just got a message back from Meagan (FordService) to say that mine is currently in order processing, whatever that means.

Means they're getting all the stuff together to prep for build I think. Should be build next week i'd guess.
