So literally just, my dealer called me, searches the system, and tells me no Mustang under that name was ordered (that's how I know she spelt my name wrong). I then proceed to spell it out to him, and he seems clueless about it, asks if i'd ordered through another Phil at their dealership, so i'd confirmed that it was him (Won't name names just incase!).
He checked his system, asked me a bunch of questions about my car (spec, colour, trim, extras, order instore or online (?), order date etc), and just couldn't find it for the life of him (Apparently), funny that, because I know it's built and it's waiting at the docks... Silly dealer.

Will update on whatever he says when he calls me back...If he does, or he's just now realised the surname is 'Mander' and been like SH1T, I TOLD YOU NOT CALL THIS GUY
So to cut a long story short...it was all a dream and you haven't ordered a Mustang?

;)

..............................and that also, if Karen and Stacey are dealing with them, they take a bit of a back step to it... (odd).

I may have just sussed why my dealer is so useless at getting back to me... Story time gents!

Called my dealer today (We'd preagreed i could choose a plate for the car when the plates came in so i'm calling to arrange this), I get through to secretary and she doesn't just put my name and surname down (after spelling it out) she also puts my phone number down with a 99 in instead of a 00 which I got corrected. I asked her to put my dealer on the phone, and, as always >BUSY<.

So literally just, my dealer called me, searches the system, and tells me no Mustang under that name was ordered (that's how I know she spelt my name wrong). Update: Looks like any misaligned pannels will be fixed before I pickup the car, the car will be valet properly, it'll be done in house (scared of this, but they have their own body shop, so we'll see, he's assured me all mustangs he's delivered have been spotless, swirless and without cobwebs on it).
And finally, I can go in, in march, and pick out a plate for the car.

He also said my car status is shwoing as 'shipped' and that it should be here by the end of march (you what?????), i'd told him if he can get it there for then then i'd be very happy. He also said a lot of dealers get bi-weekly updates to the mustangs, and that also, if Karen and Stacey are dealing with them, they take a bit of a back step to it... (odd).

Oh well, there's the update in full :)
So it's not manders then !! ;)

j-rowe14 Honestly mate, it's shocking, i've never been that baffled in my life, i've literally given the guy free commission and he's just a jackass.

SteveS no, to cut a long story short my dealer is an imbecile - who's remarkably easy to get 'things' out of

welsh treg over both our heads and my mum loved Dallas as a show! (ive even watched some)

slowhand99 don't even ask, i was like wtf are you on about when he said that, even claiming my car would come 'in march' come on mate, if that was to happen i'd be shocked!

Hammer Time never has been. Manders mustang refers to the mustang I will inevitably get (at some point) Mander is the surname, pretty sure i've mentioned this one before.

slowhand99 I'll just accept the title of God, King or ruler of the universe. Apparently no control over ford franchises, i'll be sorting this out though

God I hope your car doesn't fall off the dockside, saying that it'll mean you can entertain us all for another 9 months.

Hammer Time Yes ;) Hook line and sinker...
twiggy If it does i'm going to go ballistic, lets see how entitled little prick I can go if that happened... not even 9 months, it'd be like an air demand, next order slot etc.

@welsh treg over both our heads and my mum loved Dallas as a show! (ive even watched some)

It's all a dream !

"Bobby had been killed off in the final episode of the 1984–1985 season, and Patrick Duffy left the show for a year. Bobby returned to the show in the famous "shower scene" right at the end of the 1985–1986 season. The subsequent "dream revelation" at the start of the 1986–1987 season, wrote off Bobby's accident, Bobby's death and all but the final scene of the 1985–1986 season, as a dream of Bobby's fiancée and ex-wife, Pamela Barnes Ewing (Victoria Principal).

She understands now, she said she thought it was Mustang related! About him dreaming he got the car, hence her confusion!

What are we going to bitch about when we all eventually get our Mustangs ?

There is one or two on here who will go mod crazy,
