Couldn't agree more.
Seriously, it looks quite straight forward, not a complicated task at all. The only important thing is to remember to remove the two "hidden" bolts that attach to the guard.
Hi mate can you please post a pic of that hidden bolts please.
Thanks
Some european law regarding the visibility of the drls at certain angles from the side on view of the car. Therefore they have been changed for the european market and we cop the same headlights because its cheaper to make them all the same.does any one know the exact reason why we are not getting them in your headlights? considering the new falcon and focus have them in their headlights and other manufacturers also have LED DRL....
That's also what I've had understand. Some european law regarding the visibility of the drls at certain angles from the side on view of the car. Therefore they have been changed for the european market and we cop the same headlights because its cheaper to make them all the same.
Or that is my understanding so far.
First time I have seen the bottom lights on to be honest. Can someone with an Australian delivered car confirm? On the picture above, the light in the EU/AU picture are the Parking lights ...
EU (and AU I think) DRL's are this :
If you follow the UK section, they also have the DRL in the fog lights ...First time I have seen the bottom lights on to be honest. Can someone with an Australian delivered car confirm?
The bottom light has two globes in our cars, one is the DRL and the second is a fog light.First time I have seen the bottom lights on to be honest. Can someone with an Australian delivered car confirm?

Thanks! yeah I guess I completely missed that info. The bottom light has two globes in our cars, one is the DRL and the second is a fog light.
Now I am really confused. Caniggia and some others have said the Diode Dynamics led boards are not bright enough to be DRLs. Caniggia adds extra leds to the board to make them brighter, but has a feature on them so that you can also go back to standard brightness. Then DD told me that they would be working on a new board with the same feature that also has brighter leds so we can use them as DRLs on full brightness and then a lower setting that could be used as a parking light.I fired up the DD LEDs today to see how bright they are. THEY ARE @$^#ing BRIGHT.
You can lower the brightness with the remote control that comes with it, which I think may be why some people have reported dim lights.
Thanks for the info he did mention that he has dual brightness DRL / Parking light in that post, which is what I am looking for. Have the bright setting for drl and the low setting for parking light. This way the tri bar will also light up when you open the car and also stay on for a while when you lock it, just like the US spec cars. They are DEFINITELY not bright enough ! And the new version they are working on is still not available, so the version FrozenPea have in his hands should be the first version DD was selling.
When you light they up on a desk they seem to be bright but in headlights they are not bright !
@Gnome, the link you posted about Caniggia's mod, it was not to made the boards brighter, he simply add the sequential turn fonction to the Boards (that's the boards I have on my car).
See here the difference between DD LED's and Caniggia's LED : http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1008111&postcount=140
Caniggia's LEDs are much brighter !
Driver i mean is made like yours boards, on automats, not hand made.
Custom, because I designed them. They are current control pwm drivers with temperature control,, adjustable current , 2 channels for drl and parking, step up.
I use one big radiator per section.
I dont have photos since i dont sell them.
But here is photo how i added radiators and leds to your boards
