Right i'm at work, what's the timestamp it's mentioned/shown at please - so i don't have to endure 20minutes of a mustang review which will for 99% of it repeat stuff I already know :headbang::thumbsup:?
Ergh, Ford Oval or Pony, I'd much rather the pony
stevec surely depends on how this supposed logo functions, if it 'pops up' (as in sticks out) the wrap shouldn't effect it, if it goes inwards, I'd expect it to be effected, I was more referencing whether the wrap would need it to be colder than usual, as extra 'insulation/protection' with another few layers ontop of it, or if it'd just not work because of how it's required to work.

Do we have any of our scottish/northern forum goes reading this who've seen it in the flesh (assuming our UK cars have it). Or is this a question with Pierre to confirm whether we have it or not.

Are you suggesting the bonnet changes shape? Thats Science Fiction surely.
I am sure all it is, is a logo that shows up by dew settling on some parts of the bonnet and not others. But I have never seen any pics of this

I think its just an embossed area under the hood (and under the black insulation, so you can't see it) which leads to ice / snow melting in a pony shape first - once you have turned the car on with an iced bonnet.

I have literally no idea what i'm suggesting to be quite honest, i've had about 2 hours sleep and i'm sure i'm delerius, but re reading what i'd wrote, yes I was suggesting that it either engraved or embossed the logo once at certain temperatures.

Thinking a bit more logically, with your suggestion, would be that there's just an 'anti freeze' patch on the bonnet sprayed on in the shape of the logo requires that will stop dew/frost getting on it therefore looking engraved (between the layer of frost). Don't think this would work with a wrap/vinyl over the top of it, unless it's been sprayed over that.
Then again, this is totally new, something i've never even heard about before so could be total BS, red herring, not even on our cars, etc, but i certainly do not know the method this is done in, nor am i pretending to :).

Entick's post and my thread link explains all.
I was a bit closer than your science fiction ideal (lol) but I do still think the stripe would not stop it working, if its meant too.

Must admit, I did not look as it was defrosting. I will next time it get frosted

Seeing this, i now remember, and know exactly what we're on about. So, Steve, looks like when you get a moment you need to lift that lining and see if we have an embossed pony UNDER the hood, the 'heating/shown' looks to just be a theorised myth based on metal thinness, but due to us having the insulation, I doubt it'd be there for anything longer than a couple of seconds unless you're in the artic.

Okay, just looked under the bonnet (hood). There is no pony shape, no Ford shape! Nothing

Alright, so not there on the '15 build years, looks like we're waiting for one of the '16 build years to land (April) before we can compare this. To be continued!
