In an ideal world anyone who had their car trashed during shipping should take the next place on the production line.

Agreed. It's sucky, for some, but they should. Or, ford ups production by X units to cover the mistake of one of their people/someone they contracted work out to.

Nearly home and dry now! Only a few weeks until arrival, underseal should be getting done now or shortly

I take it the reason for this under seal spray is due to being at sea?

I see the Parsifal ends its route on Southampton on he 17th Feb, so does this mean our cars are back on this vessel after the spray?
Or do they go on another vessel?

Just an underbody protection spray on all EURO cars.

Don't get over excited about it though. From what I've heard and seen, its a pretty poor job. Many are getting it professionally done once they receive their cars.

No. It's because American cars are not routinely underbody protected. European cars are.

Normally have to wait for another vessel.

Has anyone who's had a car built in 2016 actually got on to a ship yet, or been allocated to one? It looks like Ford are still "catching up" with cars built at the end of 2015 at the moment.

Yeah to be honest if it's a day earlier than the estimated delivery date on your order form, it will be a win in ford's eyes. I have December 2016 on mine! Could have a long wait lol

Mine has 26/01/2016 shown as the registration date (one year after order) - it has been (and continues to be) a long wait...

The car delivered to my dealer last week is a 2016 with sync 2. The car was ordered January 2015. Go figure

Fidelio winds it's weary way up to Baltimore having made an extra stop in Philadelphia. ETD from Baltimore was today; so that's not going to happen.

My info says Philadephia was a scheduled stop, and ETD from Baltamore 13/2

Once it leaves Baltamore, she's off to New York fro the 15th. Then onto Zeebrugge

It looks like the latest batches sailing were built in December though Karen said in her thread that they'd caught up, presumably to where they expected to be as clearly there are cars sitting at the docks.

I'm sure there was some reasoning behind the build order but it's never been obvious. EBs built faster, but there have also been May order GTs that are on boats over when us earlier orders still sit in Baltimore.
