What happened with Boomba?
The short story is that I pre-ordered their short throw shifter and paid in advance for it and the removal tool.

The post office lost the package but marked it as delivered anyway. Boomba Racing didn't insure the package, and blamed me for USPS losing the parcel.

USPS paid out the included $50 insurance and shipping costs.

Boomba then sent me that $66 (instead of sending me another shifter or refunding the amount I'd paid) and then Kris Krygier, the President of Boomba Racing, threatened to sue me if I left negative reviews.

For real.

I hope that every week Kris Krygier looks up at the exact moment a bird above him shits. Fuck that company.

I did read your thread and that's ridiculous. Sue for a bad review  What a joke.

Interesting. It worked last night. They must have taken it off. I should have pulled the trigger last night. Haha.
David fixed it so a code is not needed. 15% off will be applied when you add the shifter to the cart.

The other reason I'm going with Steeda is the fact that I have an OEM threaded shift knob and it's much cheaper than MGW.

The Steeda does have the reverse set up just like stock right? Lift up and shift to R? I like this and I believe it does. I like the MGW concept but the way reverse is and the off center thing i dont. David has been cool to deal albeit just PMs here, but always active on the forum and helping members out. If you have questions shoot him a PM. Wish I was still in FL now that i have the Mustang so I could head to the Steeda shop.

It looks exactly like stock (pull up collar). It just sits 1" lower that the stock shifter. That's nice as well.

I figured that since I'm going to have the console out for this project and that area tends to get warm, I'd go ahead and heat-wrap the underside of the console above the shifter and exhaust area to reflect some of that heat back out.

Who knows, maybe if I put a drink in my cupholder it will stay cool an extra couple minutes.

Reading your last sentence, I'm thinking to myself, that seems like it could totally work lol.
