Yeh i think it wont be a kick in the teeth off the first week of march, is it about 2/3 weeks turnaround from eu customs? Looking better than the 19/03 advised:clap2:

And then like 3 weeks whilst your dealer realises it's down there ! Once they've left zebrugge, you can theoretically turn the car around in literally a week, depends how good your dealer is at getting the something to come bring the car up to you. There's not much that needs to be done in southampton. (Security sticker tagging at most?)

Exactly what i'll be doing, he doesn't even know the car is built yet, or if he does, he's hiding from telling me :frusty:.

As they say, knowledge is power!

For sure think ill do that, no harm in making sure they know, hopefully will stop it lying there longer than it needs to, my dealer phoned to give me an update last week and then realised his vista system had nothing new to tell him, so just advised him it missed the boat because of the bad snow then left on the next one out, they could be doing with a bit of WWL training themselves.

Lol no i mean they could be doing with wwl training/shipping training, so they can follow stuff up like we do, sorry probably just the way i worded it.:headbonk:
No i was taking the p1ss, i got your point, it made sense, I was just meaning that most of them need just general customer service training, you can tell they're not used to managing long relationships with customers and they're short relationships that're a week or so and that it's all new to most of them, and some - unfortunatley for most of us, our dealers - are choking under it.

Waiting for a full transporter load is probably the most frustrating.

Mustang1878 Yeah, it's usually a month long relationship at max, maybe test drive/deposit/pdi/pay (3 weeks usual turn around). Nothing like this whole 9-12month malarky, none of this knowing when it's being shipped shennanigans, none of this 'build bullsh1t'. Just stock n sell!

Depends, i'd spoken to my dealer before who'd said he's 'personally sent down a single flat bed truck to pick up a customers Mustang'. I'll requote him on this, and force him to do the same. :headbang:

Today marks 5 weeks since mine arrived at the docks and STILL not allocated a vessel, let alone loaded not one, despite being promised it would have been for about the last 3 weeks! Stark, how long did yours wait there again?

Don't get stark started on his 8 month wait at the docks :lol:.

5 weeks is pretty bad, did it get lost under the snow?
