I'm glad to know I have fellow big boy mustang owners it there. I'm 280-285, and my seat does not make any noise at all. I would not be able to stand a noise like that. If my car has a noise anywhere, I go on a mission to find it and eliminate it. Go to another dealer, and I would make it publically know that that dealership, that sales guy, refuses to assist someone that has a weight problem. It could be a real handicap issue resulting from a long list of things. I used to think that was getting into a grey area, but anymore, I support you.

6'4" and about 278.. non athlete here .. no squeaks in the seat ... the dealer needs to take the seat out and reinstall imo...I would contact regional serv ice manager or Ford corporate if they refuse to do anything...

I was wondering if anyone else had any issues......
300 here.... my seat actually moves.... no noise though. When taking corners the seat bottom shifts slightly but enough to notice.... 15 GT cloth car.

Was in the same boat about the dealer... I didnt think anyone would do anything about it either.... Going in for my 2nd oil change so I will mention it.

270's here and getting the noise as well. started doing it a few weeks ago. Minor now but I assume it will get worse.

4100 miles for reference.

Hey, least we don't get the fox body driver seat gangster lean anymore. LOL

Funny how many big and tall guys are on here. I'm like 5.5"ish about 150 lbs of decently lean muscle. Pumping iron is my hobby

My driver seat squeaks when it's being moved back and forth. Perhaps your seat isn't bolted in correctly and moves a little with the leather against the center console?

So there's a mix of drivers who are heavy with no noise, drivers who aren't as heavy with noise, and everyone in-between.

Yeah, I think Chapman Ford can stuff it. I've owned the car for six months and they've had it in service for a month of that. No more.

my 2007 has a squeak here or there in the seat, but its at 50,000 miles and 32k of them were put on by the previous owner who was not as big. I can also only here it at slower speed with everything off. I am 250 for reference

I find the dismissal of the issue a bigger problem and the dealers comments to be an insult. What if you were a 280lbs mr universe contestant? same weight but different context. If its something being caused by your weight compressing the seat so it rubs on something im not sure what can be done. Did the tech try it out after you drove it or did he just dismiss it?

Does AZ have the "lemon law" like CA does? I filed LL on a '93 Corvette when I lived in CA. Car had to be in 3 or more time for the same "or related" issue or, in the shop for 30 days in the first year. I bet a LL case would get that dealership off their asses. Chevy denied the claim at first, but with persistence, they called me and said they wanted to "buy the car back from me". This keeps the car from being labeled as a Lemon and allows them to re-sell the car instead of having to destroy it.

I might have to look in to a lemon law -- not really because I want to be rid of the car, but because I want Ford to step up and fix all the gorram issues. I mean, seriously, this is a little embarrassing.

"Hey man, where's the Stang?"
"It's in the shop."
"AGAIN?"

I'm tired of having that conversation, but even more so I'm tired of buzzes and rattles and squeaks and loose pieces (e.g. the stripped-out e-brake mechanism). 3,800 miles!

Man, I feel for you bro. You are getting the short end of the stick from all kinds of sources dealing with your car. Don't answer this, but do you get this type of response from customer service outside of your 'stang?

For a customer service rep to talk to you insinuating because you are overweight they won't help... That is discrimination. Embarrassing for you. I'm pissed off for you. I know I'm not helping here. I think a letter to the owner of the dealership, maybe. Get the guy saying that again on tape. Then you might have something.. Lol. Good luck.

My RECAROs make a teeny tiny click when I get out. No movement in the car and no noise, but I have to torque my body to get out and over the hump or I'm sure I'll bust my nuts on it. lol. I figured repeated twisting is loosening something. I think I will just tighten whatever is coming loose.
