Still thinking ours should be the same build date. Out of interest MyMilkshake... what was your order date?

This month cannot go quick enough now.

Looking through the calendar and I think I am going to set a goal of taking it to Goodwood FOS in June. If its not here by then I will cry tbh!
Yes they should be the same day as our order dates are within 5 days of each other (mine was 4th August.) They should be here during May looking like the end of May.

Congrats! Still nothing for me, however I was a 11 Jan build and "only" been at the docks for a couple of weeks.
Same here. Dealer did call me this morning with an update (which I'd already had from Karen and from ETIS/Window Sticker tracking).

Manders - please note ;) Apparently average delivery from gate release is 57 days. So there's a slim chance mine may appear in March. Doubt it though given the delays due to weather on the East Coast of the USA.

I blame Stark for dragging that average up ;)

Does this sound familiar Manders Mustang?

Having been told my car was built on 18th January by Stacey and the dealer and having been given a VIN I have been checking ETIS and Research window sticker regularly for updates...

Minimal info on ETIS with no build date and no window sticker since I have had the VIN.

Over 2 weeks on I thought something wasn't right as there was no change...

I emailed Stacey yesterday to chase and got this reply earlier:

Good morning Dominic,

Apologise for the confusion, our system was showing this unit was built, however we have been informed by the plant that there was a delay due to another model line, therefore this unit has yet to be gate release.

We shall keep an eye on this and will be sure to inform you when this vehicle has been gate released.

Kind regards

Stacey Powell
Very disappointed to say the least...

The highs and lows (and lows, and lows) of the order process :(

Sorry to hear this chap. Hopefully it will be off the line and gate released soon.

Looks very very very much like mine, however, Karen confirmed the mistake was down to stacey reading Built week 02/01/2016 as '2nd Jan' rather than '2nd Feb' as american date, so kind of saw the error in the ways then as well.
Bit of advice, without the VIN, you've moved (virtually) nowhere, until you've got the VIN is when things start kicking up. These come about 2 weeks before the build

Window sticker is about 1 week before build (or was for me)

ETIS update for build was 1 day after it was built (Updated today, but with 02.02.2016)

It's such a pain, at least one person feels my pain now.. You've got a VIN, you will be soon, i'll vouch for that! Just the wait seems like an eternity :(!

@stiggy nicest thing you've ever wrote to me haha , 57 days is 8weeks 1 day, i'll take that, means my car lands what... ? Last week of March, that's a win in my eyes, i've got my eyes set on mid april at the moment though.

@SteveS yes very nice to see some cars moving, especially as the backlog is moving in the docks, and the cars are moving in the plant as some were saying none were being produced as they had nowhere to produce them, hopefully time to level out the bottle-neck. (Also nice as mines moved :cool:)

Thanks Stiggy - my expectations have become lower and lower as the process goes on...

I got given the VIN on 18th January - it has been live and works on ETIS since then but no change and no build date!!!!

VERY STRANGE.....

It's the window sticker you need to be tracking. That only gets generated once the car is built (apparently).

That's a good strategy unfortunately...

Mine was "due to be gate released next week" in October, which turned out not to be remotely correct. I got a VIN at the start of December and it was actually built 6 weeks later on 12th Jan. Currently sat somewhere waiting for a ship. Oh well, it'll be a nice surprise when it finally turns up...

Yup, mine was due to be built in November (the 9th). It was actually built Jan 12th. Now it's waiting to be dug out of a snowdrift and loaded onto a boat.

Still, I guess it will be worth it in the end.... won't it?

Ordered new sofas at the weekend. With a 13 week lead time which is getting here first?!?!? Worryingly my bet is on DFS....
